This property was perfect for our little family, clean, warm, plenty of activities provided to keep the kids happy & they absolutely loved exploring the garden!

The location was perfect for our stay. Initially my sister and I had booked the house but then my Dad and his wife joined us and Joy was very accommodating in letting them stay as well. We also had a little mishap where we lost the house keys and she was very understanding and came to sort it out really quickly(luckily they were found)!! The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The quiet surroundings made for a peaceful getaway in nature which is exactly what we were looking for.

The location is great - a quiet street just a few minutes' drive from the town centre. Plenty of blankets, fans and heaters are provided, which was very helpful during our stay as the weather varied from very hot to very cold. We appreciated the nice little touches like the shelf of books and games in one of the bedrooms. The property has beautiful gardens, which our toddler loved exploring!

The kitchen equipment is quite basic (e.g. no large cooking pots) and there are few kitchen staples provided, which is fine for basic cooking but difficult if you're trying to prepare family-sized meals. The bathroom is small and does not have a bath, which is a bit tricky if you're bathing young children.

Thank you for a wonderful 3 night stay. The property is exactly as pictured, impeccably clean and tidy, everything worked, and we felt we were provided with amenities beyond what we would normally have expected for the booking price and location. Perfect for a long or short stay. In particular, the sun filled living room was lovely in the morning. The host/owner was promptly communicative, just another plus!

The Wentworth Retreat is a great place to relax and refresh from the stresses of city noise and traffic. Well located and with plenty of space it is a comfortable place for your mountains holiday.

The WiFi is not great. I am sure this is a common story in the mountains and there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Just don't expect to be able to stream movies!

It’s a n excellent property. And has everything from kitchen essentials to laundry. My toddler loved running around in the backyard.

Our three week stay at Wentworth Retreat was a real delight. Everything we needed was there to make our holiday comfortable. When we arrived there was milk, butter and fresh coffee in the fridge as well as tea bags, biscuits and other provisions. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and mats etc.. Heaters were available for cooler mornings and evenings and a washer/dryer which was very useful with short cycles. There’s plenty of space in the house and a garden with a lovely seating area. We didn’t have a car but found the distance to the village and railway walkable in 20 minutes with a short cut away from the main road. Wentworth Falls has a lot to offer with a gorgeous bakery where you can have a croissant and coffee before catching the train. There is a fantastic grocery shop 'the lemon Tree' where you can buy fresh produce. We went into Sydney several times which took just under two hours buy trains running very early. We found Wentworth Retreat an ideal base for exploring the area. It was just right for us as the location is quiet where you can hear the birds and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It felt like ‘home’ very quickly. We will definitely return if we can in the future. Many thanks to Joy and Bill who were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We miss it already!

The property owner answered all enquiries in a timely manner. The house was well kept and clean. Property felt homely and I woukd stay again but next time I would hire a vehicle.

So clean, comfortable and everything was supplied. Loved the booklet with info on how to operate the heaters etc.

Really great value. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and everything you need. Good heating, electric blankets. Great to have some tea, ground coffee and a little butter. Lovely garden and outlook. Quiet location. Sun streaming into the front in the morning. Easy key collection from lock box. Good communication from owner. Couldn’t be better really.
