Very hot the fan did very little and we couldn't have the window open due to 2 hornets coming in to the bedroom Minor cmmts 1.used and left open shampoo and body wash bottles were found in the shower 2. At breakfast time decorator was Woking sanding down and was noisy so that we taken our breakfast outdlside, I know work has to be done but for us it was ringing in our ears

Location and size of bed and bedroom

The bathroom was clean and of good size; the shower was also of a good size. However the overall fitting out of the bathroom was a bit clinical flooring was of commercial grade and not very welcoming. Also the pub had a private party and were unable to give us a table for dinner. I wish they had communicated that before we arrived, they did recommend a pub just down the rd; however, they were fully booked and we had to hunt around. Not easy when you are in the words of our host; we, were in the sticks

The location was stunning. So peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Best bacon! .

Breakfast was outstanding. Very picturesque surroundings. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The evening meal we had was excellent. Parking easy and convenient.

Bed could have been a little longer, but maybe as Disability access room was short for a reason. Fan could have been more quiet as we could not leave doors open and sleep.

Great spot with fantastic views across the countryside. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were all friendly and made us welcome. Dinner and breakfast was superb!

The friendly staff, really great room. Lovely food. The spa bath was so nice, lovely get away for date night. We slept so well it was so quiet in the village. We will definitely return.

Would have been great to be offered extra breakfast items. It was a set choice and the food was lovely, my Husban is a big eater and we would have happily paid for an extra portion if the option was offered.

I liked that on my journey there were 5 hour delays & when I called the establishment, I was warmly greeted with great information of another route to follow. Also the overall stay was great & wished I had booked for longer. Very friendly landlady & the woman that checked us in & the locals warm welcoming & conversation add to the ambiance of the place.

Only down side was my main meal could have been warmer, but the actual duck breast was beautiful & well presented.

Excellent with good food and atmosphere

Just about everything! I've stayed before and knew I'd have an amazing stay. The food, staff, room-excellent shower😊 and the view was fabulous too. Fresh milk on arrival and two chilled bottles of water too.

I had to ask for coffee for the room and couldn't work two of the ceiling spotlights, I imagine the bulbs had gone which they can at any time. No real issues at all.

We wanted a relatively local overnight stay to help ‘recharge the batteries’. The Coach House delivered with a lovely comfortable room, very good quality food and equally important excellent customer service. wWe would certainly look to return.

Internet in our room was a bit intermittent but for a one night stay it was not a great issue.

Nice country pub a short taxi ride from Castle Hedingham, for a wedding. Quiet & comfortable suite room (the Gainsborough) with easy parking. Breakfast included.

Room was large plenty of space. Food was good. Breakfast was great.

The room had a door which led on to the carpark but no window to have open at night. To have the door open would be a security risk.
