We enjoyed our time in the cottage a lot. Especially the barbecues on our balcony with the view into the valley were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Amazing view and a beautiful, spacious cottage with everything you need - kitchenette with oven, stove top, coffee machine, kettle and fridge/freezer. Table with chairs inside and outside, a closed fireplace, comfortable seating and bed, modern bathroom, shower with a view and the best of all the bath on the patio with candles and a view. The perfect romantic setting and so relaxing.

Beautiful views, privacy, lovely outdoor shower with a spectacular view...The cottage very well- planned and a real gem. The surrounding forest teeming with birds, close to everything. Buzzing markets beautiful beaches, interesting walks and drives.

Location was great and beautiful to have such a view was exceptional. The area was quiet and away from all the noise.
Unfortunately we can not change mother nature, but the weather could have been better ;). I do Like nature but I am not a creepy crawly fanatic. Spiders are an absolute run away for me, but only 2 made their appearances.

unfortunately this was the only let down - the bed was as hard as a rock and we didn’t get much sleep.

We stayed in Glory Dawn for 2 nights in October - wow! Beautiful, absolutely immaculate (literally the cleanest place we have ever stayed) and the views! Unbelievable! We will be dreaming of this place for a long time. Wish we could've stayed for longer than 2 nights. Can't recommend more highly. If we're ever lucky enough to return to South Africa, we will definitely be staying at Forest Valley. An absolute dream. Thank you Mark for being such a welcoming host! Jade and James

great spot nice braai and loved the aircon
Only 4 towels for the weekend is too little if you shower twice daily and swim and bubble bath extra.
glasses were very dirty one had a worm in another had a spider inside.

The location to Knysna was really good and it was a beautiful retreat in the forest with great views.
Mark and Colleen were extremely helpful when we had an issue with our car hire calling the car company for us and Mark gave us fab suggestions at the start about what to do.

The cottage was beautiful! Location great - not to far from Knysna and the host was really accommodating. Very private and the sounds of nature spectacular. Lovely spa bath and bbq facilities. We were there in winter and the inside fire place was warm and made one feel cosy. Cottages were cleaned every day by friendly staff.
