Beautiful and practical house located in the middle of an olive tree plantation. Great outdoor facilities. Our host was very helpful and always available. Excellent food in the towns around. A lot to see within 1h - 1h30 driving distance. Highly recommendable.

The location is fantastic. Only 10 minutes to Locorotondo or Alberobello - both an absolute "must" if you're in the area. It's about 45 minutes to Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, and Taranto. Roughly an hour's drive from Brindisi airport. Something like half an hour to Fasano and it's Safari park - well worth a visit. Whilst the interior is probably 3 star quality (what I mean is that its rustic, it isn't rough or unclean) the exterior area is at least 4 stars. The grounds are very spacious and the pool is just fab. There's a barbecue and large outdoor dining table. It's up a very quiet lane surrounded by farmland, and we didn't hear or see anything of the neighbours really... but when we did they were friendly and welcoming. Finally - the owner was fantastic from start to finish. He definitely deserves 5 stars. He met us nearby on our first evening to ensure we didn't get lost on the way, brought us pastries on our first morning, gave us lots of recommendations for local shopping and restaurants etc, and he was always responsive when we contacted him for additional bits of information during our stay. He even delivered a bottle of wine to us on our anniversary the day before we checked out!

There's only a few minor gripes about our stay at Trullo LC, but seeing as you're asking here goes! First, we only got access to 3 of the 4 bedrooms (all doubles) for the first week - which made the place feel a bit small and one of us had to use the sofa bed as we were a group of 3 adults + 2 children. The kitchen is small and the mattresses are quite hard (but to be fair, some guests would moan if it was too soft - so I don't think property owners should be criticised or scored down for not pleasing Goldilocks!). But, don't let those few things put you off because everything else is terrific!
