The apartment is in the best location in Sintra. Right near the train station from where you can also take the buses to travel in Sintra.
The apartment was clean, however it would look better if they would take more care of it. It would become more popular if they would renovate it in a modern-vintage style. The view from the balcony is the best and the balcony was clean and nice.
Hope they would consider to modernize the apartment cause I think is the best one in Sintra with a good location and fantastic view.
The sofa and the armchairs in the livingroom are a little old and have a strange smell. Also the bathroom was a little old.

The host is EXCELLENT! Very kind and helpful - he was flexible on our arrival and departure time, and gave us excellent restaurant suggestions. And the view from the balcony was gorgeous, with plenty of seating and an amazing sunset view. There is also a small grocery store and great bakery very close by. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped.
There is some wear and tear evident in parts of the apartment.

Everything was very clean, well designed and the kitchen especially was well equipped.
One of the batherooms had a very noisy fan, and both batherooms had slow water flows. Since the apartment is located right outside the train station, it could get a bit noisy.

We really liked the proximity to the station. And the equipment for kids the owner provided. The terrace was perfect for friends small kid to run around. The two bathrooms came really handy. Beds and everything was really clean :-)
Only missing thing could be a bigger table on the terrace, we wanted to dine there as it's really cool in good weather, and maybe a kettle in the kitchen to make a tea :-)

Very easy contactless check in, codes for doors were all sent out a couple of days before check in.
The location was great, the flat is right opposite the train station and 10 minutes walk to the old town, tuk tuk tours and buses to pena Palace all outside the apartment.
It was very reasonably priced.
The coffee machine was really good.
They could do with a larger selection of sharp kitchen knives and more pillows.

The host was very kind and helpful, could not meet us but sent very detailed information how to get the keys and even gave us a backup contact just in case we need it. Well, we didn't, everything was ok 😊
We thought the apartment was in the city centre,, and it actually is, only not in the historical quarter, but right next to the train station

The location was superb. Very close to the train station. The host was very responsive. There was a nice bottle of wine on the table upon arrival.
There was no instruction on how to use the facilities at home and some of the facilities were too old and needed to be replaced. For instance, the labels of microwave/oven were all removed since it was old and we didn't know how to use it so we had to press all the buttons randomly to figure out how it works. Same with washing machine and dryer, there were no instruction on how to use. The dish washer was very small and quite old, not cleaning the dishes well. I think if they replace some of the old devices in the home and create an instruction booklet which guests can use, it would make this a good experience.

Filipe was extremely helpful and nice. He met us when we arrived to give us the keys and instructions. He also helped us with tips on what to do and what was the best sights to see. My family and I loved our stay. Highly recommend, the location is perfect.
