The staff were helpful and the location is very convenient for me.

While they do attempt to clean the room, it is actually not very clean. The bathroom still had hair on the floor and the walls had stains from previous shampoo and toothpaste. The kitchenware was not properly cleaned either.

Great location, directly in between 2 Metro Stations (Gangnam and Yangjae), 20 minutes into City, and most tourist attractions. Express-Bus 6009 from Incheon Airport (direct) stops about 300 meters from the hotel. Show the address to the driver. He'll tell you where to exit, don't get out at Gangnam station, or you'll have to walk longer! Express-Bus terminal to other cities 4 Metro stops away. The apartment comes fully equipped with a gas stove, electric kettle, dishes, air conditioning, and a proper bath with a real shower cabin. This all for a great price: the total package could hardly be better, esp. in Seoul.

There's potential for improvement regarding the cleanliness. We found so many hairs from strangers in our bath that we called for another cleanup from the service. The towels and sheets were stained so we asked for a change. Service came and "helped out" within a few minutes, but the "new" towels and sheets were stained as well (though clearly fresh from the laundry and pressing service). During the week, towels were changed daily and never looked good. Otherwise, we would have kept them. In the end, we used our own. Staff at the front office ranged from professional "I don't care" to super friendly and "happy to see you". Unfortunately, we had the friendly one at the checkout... Our Korean is not worth mentioning, but communication was possible via App. ...would have expected a bit more english, at least in a hotel in Seoul-Gangnam. Anyway, still great price - value ratio. We'll give it another try if we come back to Seoul (maybe with better Korean) and can definitely recommend Urban Place Gangnam.

Urban Place is perfect for Gangnam tourists. The hotel is clean, staff speaks English and is very friendly, and it's close to public transportation. Come here!

Perfect location in a heart of Gagnam district, but quiet.

Bed was comfortable, washing machine in the room. The staff was lovely and engaged.

The bathroom was dirty, the pillows were stained and the wallpaper was lose on many spots.

very unclean, dust everywhere all over the bathroom, some mold, and clumps under the bed. the lock on the door didn’t work and the first night we couldn’t find the do not disturb hanger for the door - just before 10:00 am the cleaning person opened the door and started to walk in as I shouted no no no several times and tried to dress myself, she didn’t close the door and leave despite seeing me upset and distressed from being walked in on and proceeded to insist to give towels and smiled like she had no idea she had breached our privacy. it was bizarre and extremely uncomfortable. the front desk workers were lovely otherwise. we’d never stay there again.
