.As its very difficult to find a B&B where breakfast is served, plus breakfast recommendations from host proved rather bleak (Morrisons) not value for money. However enjoyed stay, shame there's not access to a microwave, toaster..in perhaps a small kitchen area as it rained severely (most days) during my stay and had to venture out to for some thing to eat. I liked the location, and was a pleasant room. I'd certainly stay again. ® Recommended D

I booked a single but was upgraded to a double, which was at the back of the house and was very quiet! The room was well funished with quality items and everything worked. The bed was extremly comfortable and I slept very well!
The Only person I saw in the hotel was someone who lived there but was not part of the business! So I saw nothing of my hosts and I felt a bit like well here's a room stay in it! Just an ackowlegement that I was there would have been nice!
The only other niggle was the tap in the bathroom had turn knobs on them which I found extremly difficult to turn on and off. I would have liked to see lever taps in this day and age!

The property has a homely feel and is kept to a high standard and clean. I think we met the owner a pleasant lady who made us feel welcome. I definitely would recommend to friends and return myself.
No breakfast in the price but I think this was as a result of Covid. I have stayed at other guest houses who are now doing breakfasts. Even with this I would stay again.
