Everything. Magical place with exceptional staff, beautiful, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Oh, and the views of course! We got an upgrade to their honeymoon suite which we immensely appreciate. I peaked into some of the other rooms and they all looked beautiful and had a nice view of the fort/palace. We loved lounging on one of their terraces and watching the city wake up early in the morning from our balcony. Worth every penny. Thank you, Killa Bhawan!

Water pressure. But I imagine that's to do with the ancient plumbing they have to deal with, and not a big deal.

Attach bathroom could have been better. Though it was private and very well maintained but still it was isolated

We loved everything about this property. The location is exceptional, tucked away on a quiet lane inside the fort. Stunning views, including of the old palace. It is both a great base from which to explore or place to while away an afternoon or evening. Bhanu, Manu and the entire team went out of their way to help us by organising a truly exceptional guide, sharing sightseeing recommendations and offering up their local knowledge.

The owner upgraded us to suite room which had an exceptional balcony with sitting area, with amazing view of the fort and the city. It was really mesmerizing.

The property is run by three brothers and they really try to make you feel home. Also the hotel offers best view of fort as is is very strategically located inside fort itself

Lack of restaurant however owners managed the meals from outside pretty decently.

Hands down THE place to be in Jaisalmer. Located within the fort, killa bhawan was a pleasant surprise. Exceptionally maintained heritage property with stunning views. Stayed with my wife and 2 kids. They upgraded my room to a family suite with 2 bedrooms. The person in charge Bhanu made sure we felt at home. Will definitely recommend anyone visiting Jaisalmer to stay here.

we had an absolutely stunning view with a small sit out from which you could see the entire city. there was a huge terrace too & lots of other cozy sit out areas. if you're travelling in a group of friends or young couples, its an absolute delight. there are lots of cozy corners created to hang out & just chill.

For the rates charged, the hotel itself should provide some sort of transport to & fro from the fort to the killa. Jaisalmer closes early, & the hotel has no in house pantry service available. he bathroom was buit under the stairs & though im shorter & didn't have any trouble, my husband kept bumping his head on the corners of the stairs while showering.

Ambience of the place was excellent. It gave the feeling of living on the fort. The interior of the room was nicely decorated. Friendly staff.

The little climb from the entrance of the fort was steep. Autos are not allowed to ply for some local reason. They can think of some battery powered smaller vehicle for the old and infirm.

Excellent location. Cant be beat as its inside the fort (on the fort walls). The car cannot go inside the fort so be prepared to hire a local tuk tuk to ferry your luggage up. They serve only breakfast which is simple but tasty. If you seek machine like efficiency, tubs in bathrooms, swank lobbies and dining areas, vast breakfast spreads etc, then this place isn't for you. If you seek to soak in the history & the ambience , experience the little personal touches of a small family run place, are willing to put up with minor (for some) inconveniences like climbing up n down stairs etc, then this place is for you. It is clean, it is lovely and thoroughly enjoyable.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we simply loved it. The location of the hotel is perfect and gives you really good views of the whole Jaisalmer city. And the hospitality of the staff and the owners was beyond expectation. Overall, a very positive experience. Highly recommended.
