Everything was just amazing - huge and beautifully decorated house with all you may need. Spectacular views - on ocean, mountains and waterfall on the same time. Will be happy to return in next time. Marta and Jose - amazing hosts, they prepared local delicacies and fruits from their garden. Also, Marta and Jose invited us to visit their garden in farm where they live nearby, so we can see and try different fruits. From accessibility point of view is better if you have a car. Please be sure, driving in Madeira could be a bit scary if you never have driven mountain roads. But few days of practice and you will start to enjoy these steep up / down roads and fantastic sceneries around you on every step

Very helpful hosts assisting whenever needed: transfer from and to airport, organizing the COVIDTest for the return flight. Spacious house with great view of the valley and out to the sea, nice neighbourhood in a village. Clean and well kept, comfortable. Big refrigerator and freezer

As far as the location in the hills was difficult to find, our hosts took us from the airport so we could follow them by car. It is kind of adventures to drife the steep streets up to the hill, but the view from the house just flashed us. The house is very big and a great place to stay, if you don‘t mind to drive up and down the hill (what was fine with us). It was good, we could rent a radiator, what costs 10,00 € a day, because the weather in that week was not too good. It was cold in the nights. All in all we enjoyed the stay and Marta and Jose were very caring, informing us abput strong winds and giving us fruit from their garden. We had fantastic sunrises and it was very quiet there.

There is no heating, what maybe is normal in this country.

Very friendly property owners taking care about all details. The villa itself is very comfortable, spacious, equipped with all you need, has wonderful terrace with a stunning view and all this in a very quite area providing privacy and still a possibility to start some hiking from the villa directly without the need to use the car. The car is a must on Madeira however (the smaller the better due to the narrow roads and small parking places :-), otherwise you would miss the opportunity to stop and enjoy while you are moving from one place to another. And there are many places to stop along the way. It was our first visit and we fell in love with Madeira, the good thing being we now know where to stay once we come back. Thank you Marta e José !

There are some details you can not influence like the weather and we have not been able to enjoy the terrace as much as we would wish due to the windy days, having one more reason to stay here again :-) But you drive 20km and the season changes, amazing Madeira!
