Very old elevator which I think was not checked since years. No fire alarm in the room. No glasses for water or something else. Check in from 14 h which is to late. Very uncomfortable old mattresses.

Friendly staff, clean and warm room, comfortable bed. Close to downtown, just a few minute walk.

Location wise good

No basic facilities like elrctric kettle, microoven etc, very pathetic to make even a cup of hot water.

I got lucly to find a place to stay there at the last minute during a busy week end (end of april_1st of may) as i mismanaged my booking in an hostel near hauptbahnof and it ended up getting full on my second night stay in aachen. Anyway it was a nice change from the hostel shared room I was the day before. The room was clean enough, calm enough, bed was not bad. It is true that is not allowed to smoke inside but in the corridor the smell of smoke was very present. The best advantage of this hotel is that is close to the thermes ( 6 minutes walk) so as I went to the thermes till late (11 pm), it was very convenient to walk back nearby and not have a 20 minutes walk to the city center. And next day, it also also very convenient to visit the ludwig forum that was 1 minute walk ! Easy check out as well as you just have to put the keys in a letterbox before 11am. I overstayed a bit and it was still fine .

The only good thing is that it is cheap. The picture listed by the hotel is true.... probably more than 5 years or more ago. The hotel have seen better days. But the bed is clean and ok. Whatever little facilities there is are working as it is.

Some parts of the room is very dirty and seems like no one has cleaned it for a very long time. There is basically nothing offered in the room except shampoo. Though the hotel is listed as smoke free, people are still smoking in the room and the room have smell of cigarettes.

people who staying in hotel are so noisy untill late night. I couldn't get asleep because of noise from closing doors, chatting at same floor, talking in the room right next to mine.

Very friendly staff. The heating was working good and it was very quiet.

Unbelievably dirty room and bathroom. Gap under the door was full with dust and hair. Also the wall next to bed was dirty.

It was clean and good for a short stay. It had a private garage but the gate had been damaged so it had to stay open. Despite not serving breakfast at that moment, it was announced in Booking and there we were given alternatives close by. Good value for the money, I think.

The hotel is a bit old though nothing of major. The private garage is tiny and because of the gate damage, anyone could access it.

After I have red all the reviews I was thinking about to cancel the reservation. I'm happy that because hotel had everything that I needed for half price of others hotels in this locality. It was near the railway station and city center. Receptionist was polite and spoke fluently English. Room was clean with comfortable bad. Good value for such a low money.

Very small and dirty shower. Matras on a bed - very uncomfortable to sleep. Very soft - if move from a middle of a bed - can fall. Photos on site are not as real. May be there only best room - but standard room much poor.

The location

The reception staff were never there and to be honest it became more like an air b and b than a 3 star hotel. There was no air conditioning in the room and even though I had paid to upgrade both rooms, upon arrival I was told that we would be in single rooms. The booking clearly stated breakfast was included but when we arrived, despite an entire dining room which could allocate breakfast we were told that they no longer did it because of covid! There was no correction in price however. There was no newspaper provided everyday as there business card suggested either. The mattress was deplorable and the pillow literally non exist ant. In the end I rolled the duvet up to get any kind of neck support. The shower was filthy and there was hair in it from the previous occupant.

The hotel isn't too far from the center of the city and in front of a bus stop where you can get a direct bus to the central station.

The prices are too high for a tiny room. And most of the facilities are closed. Breakfast isn't offered post COVID. The reception closes around 7pm and opens at 11 am.

It is close to the city center, like 12 min walking distance. It is a low price hotel, I think one of the lowest with similar distance to the city center. The room was clean. There was a bottle of water included in the room, which was good to refresh right at the arrival.

In the pictures it looks better than in real life (they should update them so that the client knows what they will actually find). The double bed was actually two beds (with the same headboard) that are not that well attached to which other because when you get closer to middle (the part where the two mattress "meet") the beds start to separate one from the other. One of the mattress was lower than the other and both were leaning towards one side.

Location was good to CHIO Aachen. Pizza shop and Vietnamese restaurant and bakery up the road was excellent.

As the hotel has no restaurant is should have a kettle in the room.
