The room was very clean, well equipped ( including mini-safe ), the beds and pillows were supremely comfortable and I slept extremely well ! As expected, the location was perfect for exploring the old town on foot and enjoying local food and wine.

The bed(s) were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The location to local shopping, eating and drinking places good. Parking was very good and even though we have a Ford Mondeo we managed the parking very well. The staff were friendly. Ideal location.

WiFi was very bad. It even affected the UK channels on the tv. However, we could not use our tablets or phones if WiFi was needed, which in my case was. Our first night in and the hot water was not hot. We reported this and future uses were fine. we did not like it that until we got there we had no idea the restaurant at the hotel was not open on Christmas eve and Boxing day. Open during the day but we were out and about then. It would have been nice for the hotel to have informed us prior to arriving. We had booked well in advance too. We booked into the restaurant for Christmas Day evening meal. Was looking forward to it but 2 items on the "Special board" were not available. Alternative menu items from the main menu were chosen. However, my husband's Aberdeen Angus burger was not cooked correctly. It was very cold inside and not cooked at all. We do not mind a "pink" meat but this was inedible. Fortunately, they did not charge us for it and offered to get something else but by this time my husband was put off. We had already had lunch during the day and so looked forward to eating here as lunchtime was good.

Great Central location close to all bars and restaurants. Staff very welcoming and most helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel if you require a city centre stay.
