It's centrally located

The room given to us was in the basement level. Ventilation was poor and there was a strong stench of stale cigarette smoke. The instructions for entering the hotel were grossly inadequate. The reception is unmanned during several hours of the day during peak hours.

Hôtel accessible

The bed was comfortable and parking was easy. Found really nice restaurants not to far away.

Actually getting into the apartment was very stressful. Someone tried to follow us in on our card which could have turned nasty. That person was waiting for someone to let them in. I felt very uncomfortable. The person on reception could not wait to get rid of us. Very fast check-in with no time for questions. The room itself was very very small. The windows were full of condensation and you could hardly get into the toilet and shower because they were that small.

The best thing was the location and the room was clean

We had a twin room and the beds were not good, one of them the springs were coming through the mattress and the base was broken The second one was just a we bit better but still needs replacing also maybe 2 pillows on the bed

The bed was too short; missing about 20 cm. Noise from neighbors, till past 24:00 hrs.

The room is simply but comfortable, the building is from 70s but enough renovated, beds are good ,good price/quality combination.1,2 km walking distance from the Cathedral

Rooms on the street are noisy, no a/c, we didn't need it but probably in the summer is a little harder

Nothing everything was exceptional good

The sleeping room was okay, good beds.

The bathroom was very small. At checkout there was nobody there and the night we arrived nobody gave us instructions on where to leave the keys. There was a bell to ring someone but nobody came.

Very clean hotel. Access is by 4-digit code - no problems. No parking at the hotel but we found a free car park about 7 minutes' walk away. Our room overlooked a busy street, but the double glazing provided effective sound-proofing. The room itself, which was of adequate size for a short stay (for us, 3 nights), had adjacent single beds and an en-suite shower room and toilet. Shower was quite small but OK. The hotel offers breakfast, although we did not take up this option. Location: about 15-20 minute walk to the old town. We recommend Hôtel Trianon and would use it again.

I wanted to see the chateaux of the Loire Valley and some of the vineyards and wanted to use Tours as a base. That's because Tours is central to the whole area and also has everything that a visitor might need - lots of restaurants and cafes and shops of every kind. If you've forgotten to bring anything or need anything, it's available just around the corner. The Hotel Trianon's location was ideal - very close to the centre of Tours - and at a sensible price for a tourist like me. No more than a ten minute stroll down the road is the Hotel de Ville (town hall) opposite which is the Cafe L'Univers, one of the best places to eat/drink and people-watch. The room in the hotel had everything that a tourist needs and everything worked properly. The bedroom and bathroom were also very clean - something that you don't always find even in a new hotel. This hotel isn't new and had a feeling of "France" - it didn't feel like you were just in another imported international hotel. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast in the hotel meant that you could get off to a good start to see all the sights. On-street parking was readily available free-of-charge overnight from 6pm to 9am, so I parked right outside the front of the hotel.

The bathroom was very clean, but the shower cubicle (as is often the case in European tourist hotels) was very small. If you are a large person, you might have some difficulty squeezing in there.

Everything about the place is attractive, I would recommend. Specious and clean room, delicious breakfast and very welcoming owner

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find we had a decently sized balcony and a nice view! The rooms are updated and very cute, and the breakfast was excellent.

not enough sampoo and soap

Close to the centre

Parking away from hotel unless you pay on street parking which is expensive. Locks on hotel doors almost impossible to open, very noisy outside in the night.
