The town was nice

Very busy road, impacting on sleep through broken windows. Nowhere to pull car up to unload safely (wouldn’t recommend putting hazard lights on). FILTHY accomodation. Not child or dog friendly. Sharp items found on floor. Children eating insects and previous holiday goers sweets off the floor. Terrible landlord and booking company Sykes, very unhelpful. We had a flood from the bath which triggered the electricty to go off. Landlord said he would send someone and never did. We checked out early. Don’t waste your money.

Great location, nice layout, quirky decor.

I wish I'd read previous reviews. Property is in need of a deep clean! We had to wash most items in the kitchen before use. All the dinner plates are chipped. Only 4 dining chairs for a property sleeping 8+ and they aren't sturdy. Only a dirty sponge to clean the kitchen. Hairs in the downstairs bathroom, crisps on the kitchen floor, bed held up with a piece of wood. Wi-fi gave up day 2 of our 3 day trip with no response from customer service how to restart, but a call 2 days after returning home to ask if it was back on. We have complained but received a very poor response from owner.

The property was a beautiful townhouse with lovely size bedrooms, all hosting extremely sizeable beds with stunning decor! It has a freestanding bath in one of the bathrooms which was idyllic to relax after a long weekend of burning the candles at both ends! It is brilliantly situated so close to town and everything in Shrewsbury is just a stone throw away, including the prison and the Abbey, walks along the river and brilliant coffee shops.

Being a townhouse and situated on a busy road, the garden was tiny but with the notorious rain in the north, it wasn’t missed!

great location for exploring the town, comfortable and good quality amenities, nice and warm, good quality bed linen and towels. Good signposting to free car parks.

lots of equipment but no washing up liquid or cloth which was a bit random. We got both at Asda which is very close to the property. We couldn’t stop with hazzards to unload as the road was gridlocked going the other way and we would have caused more congestion.

Lovely decor - you'll love it or hate it!! Quirky and a little different :-) The place was surface clean - bathrooms sparkly and kitchen work surfaces beautiful, beds made wonderfully, but the whole place needs a deep clean - rubbish still under the beds, cobwebs in the living room, kitchen utensils and chopping boards needed washing before using.

Not enough crockery and cutlery for the number of people the house can sleep. Beware, the house is on a busy road, absolutely fine if you are used to it, but noisy if you are not.

Great central location, 5 mins from a Reasonably priced car park (free overnight). Recently refurbished to a very high standard with beautiful quirky decor. Andrew, the host, was very helpful when we contacted him about locating items/heating etc

A little draughty in the open plan kitchen/living area unless the oven/fire was on. Lovely log burner but no logs provided. We walked to the local Asda (5 mins away) each evening to buy another bag of logs, which was easy, but provision of logs (perhaps just Nov-Feb) would be a very helpful addition.
