Eu recomendo demais a experiência.
Superou nossas expectativas.

If you want to ‘get back to basics’ in the most tranquil (and beautiful) location imaginable then if you go here you’ll have gone to the right place!
I arrived at Puno station at about 6.30pm and a waiting taxi took me to the boat departure point where the accommodation owner was waiting with a covered boat and a blanket (it was raining). It is about a 20 min ride to the island. I couldn’t see much as it was dark but the guy obviously knew exactly what he was doing and where he was going.
On arrival I was offered an evening meal (at very reasonable cost) and a flask of hot water and tea bags. And a bottle of cold water.
There was a portable gas heater which was on and the owner (Joel) made it very clear I could keep it on as long as I liked.
I needed WiFi and the only way to achieve it was for him to leave me his own phone and connect by tethering. That obviously meant he was without his own phone for the evening. Now that is going the extra mile! He couldn’t have been more helpful.
In the morning he brought me a nice breakfast including a cooked omelette, yoghurt, coffee, fresh fruit and bread.
Opening the curtains to see the Lake on a beautiful morning was quite something.
Then I was treated to a personal boat transfer back to the dock, an unforgettable journey with a few small detours on the way to point out some interesting locations around the lake.
And at the dock the taxi Joel had arranged to take me to Juliaca airport was waiting.
Everything worked like clockwork due to Joel’s professionalism and organisation. He had thought of everything.
The bed is huge, very comfortable and the covers are very warm.
As I left the island his wife handed me a lovingly hand made necklace with a little boat on it.
Don’t expect luxury! The facilities are very basic but that is part of their ‘get away from it all’ charm.
There is a ‘compost’ toilet and I couldn’t get the running water to run very much at all. The building is basically a shack built on reeds but is spacious and has 2 huge picture windows overlooking the lake and a verandah.
There is no tv or anything like that but there are USB ports to charge phones.

The lodge was amazing, very new clean and the bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in… and my bed at home is very comfortable so that is a compliment! The owners were so lovely and couldn’t make you feel more welcome or at home. I would highly recommend.
View, bed, clean, communication, made to feel welcome

This was amazing stay. Joel and Luz are the best hosts. The view from the room is incredible. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable: many warm blankets, heater, evening tea and hot water bottles for the night. We got simple but delicious dinner, breakfast was great too. Everything is very clean and well looked after. I highly recommend this beautiful little gem in such a
special spot.

We stayed for 1 night at the king suite and we loved every moment of it. We only wished we had more time there. The owners, Joel and Luz, are amazing hosts! He took good care of us showing us around the Uros islands and explaining his culture. Don’t expect luxury when you are staying at a lodge, the luxury is the location itself. The absolute highlight of our stay is when Joel was returning us with his boat to Puno after the sunset and he literally made a bed with blankets and duvets for us to lie down and enjoy the ride while we were observing the Milky Way! Loved every moment of our stay!
Nothing. Go visit this place if you have the chance. Don’t go just for a day trip

I highly recommend this beautiful stay in such a special spot, it is not everyday that you wake up on a floating island surrounded by a beautiful lake. Joel & his wife Luz were extremely helpful & welcoming from day 1. I arrived on Sunday evening from Cuzco (Peru Rail) and Joel arranged a taxi to pick me up from the station to the small port (15soles) where he picked me up on his boat. The room is massive and beautifully decorated with glass windows. They prepared a nice dinner and gave me a hot water bottle as it’s very chilly at night although you have plenty of duvets and blankets and a heater to keep you warm. The next morning I woke up to a beautiful scenery and Joel and Luz lent me the traditional custom and took me around the totora boat to show me some of the other islands, the local school and they medical center (the doctors come only twice a week so for emergencies they have to head to Puno). We also stopped to collect some fish from his fishing net which was their lunch that day. I was initially planning on staying one night only however as Joel explained to me the story of the islanders, how they live and the very welcoming expedience I extended my trip by an extra night. If you want to experience the real Uros lifestyle, with a very welcoming family this is the one for you!
It is very cold so take warm clothes, and as expected you are in a floating island so the toilet facilities are basic but very clean (dry toilet and hot water for your shower but very little pressure) but totally worth the experience!!

Amazing 2 days on Joel's family's foating island on Lake Titicaca. A really unique off grid experience to truly reset your batteries. So peaceful and remote....just you, nature and the stunning sunrises and sunsets

they made us feel at home! nothing was too much to ask! we were there during the protest in Puno so there were no tourist tours but they gave us a whole day private tour! the food was delicious! the craftwork was amazing! this family deserves a score of 11 instead of 10! would recommend this unique experience and lodge to everyone!

Joel was super helpful and showed us around the Uros islands and arranged a tour to Taquile. Even the super early drop off for our bus to La Paz was no problem. They made delicious vegan meals for us during our stay and the room is spectacular with views over the lake! it gets super cold at night but the heater is working great.
the only downside of our stay was that the shower didn’t really work, very low water pressure, but then again you are on a floating island.

Absolutely stunning view of the lake from the room and deck with day bed to relax. Host family was incredible, made sure we were warm and well fed :) Boat trip to and from the islands was gorgeous. Very authentic experience!

The terrific views, extremely friendly hosts and super comfy bed!
It was quite cold on Titicaca lake in August, but the owners give you a hot water bottle every night and they have a gas heater in the room.

you are going to be treated like queens (or kings) when staying here. The owners are a couple withtheir kid, they will do everything in their power to make your stay perfect
It was very very cold in J
August (during the night), however in the day it was perfectly fine and again, they will give ypu warm water bottles, heaters and 10 blankets to make you warm during the evening/night

The host was friendly , the room was clean and the view , exceptional. The sunset view from the room is really beautiful. The food was fresh , home made and very good. The host took personal care that our needs were met. Communication with the host went very well.
Nothing to complain.

The lodge was exceptional - location was exactly as we expected, remote but exactly what we wanted. The room decoration was exquisite - all done by hand by Joel's wife, and lent real character to the room. Joel went out of his way to meet all our needs, which was appreciated as the lodge is truly in the middle of nowhere.
Views were spectacular from the floor to ceiling windows and there was also a great day bed and comfy chair on the patio. Our only regret is that we would have loved to stay another night as it was paradise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
There is no internet connectivity due to the remoteness of the lodge and we didn't have a mobile service that worked in Ecuador - visitors should be aware of this, and bring books and other self entertainment as there is nowhere to go once you arrive, unless you arrange for a boat taxi to take you out. Or you should make sure you have your own mobile service for use at the lodge - there didn't appear to be any issues with the Ecuador mobile service itself.
The bathroom facilities were good but water pressure was very low so having a good shower was challenging as there is no mains electricity. Also no charging facilities for phones so make sure they are fully charged before arrival. Food was basic but very wholesome and excellent vegetarian options were made available on request.
It gets cold at night and while a gas heater was provided, together with great blankets and a duvet, we had to stay in bed to keep warm in the late evening. A lovely touch was the two hot water bottles to keep us cosy.
Joel and his wife were outstanding hosts and we highly recommend anyone to stay with them - 3 days would have been ideal.
Great value for money.
Heating was limited but not a fault of the hosts. Just a limitation of the remoteness of the site. They did their best to keep us warm but it's not the same as a land-based hotel.

Beautiful rooms with an unreal view and Uros experience. the hosts were some of the friendliest people I have ever met traveling around the world and gave a unique insight into their culture. The homemade food they prepared was excellent, bed was one of the most comfortable ever and they had all the accommodations you could need (warm shower, heater, arranged tours, well decorated with local style). They communicate extremely well to make sure you have no issue getting to the accommodation and even helped us by arranging a COVID test before heading to Bolivia. I could not recommend this experience more and would love to return in the near future. Book now, you will not regret it - incredible value and one of the most unique I have ever experienced.

we loved staying with Joel and his family. They’re kind, attentive, humble, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We picked his lodge over the others as it is newer and decorated with more color and care. It did not disappoint. We had sunrise and sunset views, a gorgeous balcony, and the food was fresh and healthy. We wish we stayed longer

First and foremost, our hosts were incredibly awesome: very kind and proud of his work, he is also calm and help you set in the mood of the Uros Island.
The room itself is great, with a comfy bed and a good bathroom. Night is very cold on the island (5°C when we were here), but plenty of covers are provided to keep you warm. Waking up with such a view on the lake is un-missable!
The host offers nice activities as well which is very pleasant when you are on vacations, and even more in a island !
The dinner (S/25) was simple but nonetheless very good and make the experience more complete.
Thanks again for those awesome moments, we'll remember it forever !!
I cannot put more than 10!

The host Joel and Hostess Lucy were very personable and helpful. They meet and exceeded all our expectations. The meal preparation was more than enough and very delicious. There rooms were beautifully decorated and warm. They gave us a tour of their community, took us fishing, and shared many of their customs with us. We enjoyed our
stay tremendously and would recommend it to anyone.
I liked everything!

Everything was amazing! I highly recommend staying at Luz Del Titicaca Lodge. Joel and his wife were so kind and accommodating. They helped us carry our luggage on and off the boat, up the stairs, etc. and also gave my mom a hand when she needed assistance climbing out of the boat. The accommodation itself has stunning views over the lake, especially at sunrise. The air up there is so FRESH. Everything is calm and quiet as well. It gets quite cold at night, but Joel gave us each many blankets, a heater, and a Keurig for hot tea at night. So thoughtful!
Joel's wife (I wish I'd asked her for her name!) made us the most delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and she even offered to braid my hair and dress me in traditional clothing. It was such an honor and I loved it so much!
Joel took us in his boat around the lake, showing us the various Uros islands and telling us about them and the people who live there. I had told Joel that I wanted to ride in a tortora (the boats made of reeds with the tip shaped like a puma head) and he found one for me to rent, then was very patient and helpful when I needed to take photos in it for work. It was such a special moment that I'll remember forever.
Thank you Joel and his wife, for this once in a lifetime experience on Lake Titicaca that I'll always remember! I can't wait to come back one day. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for accommodations on Lake Titicaca... this is the one. Stay at Luz Del Titicaca. You won't regret it!
Everything was perfect!

I don't usually give reviews but if I couldn't pass on this one.
Little tip to start off, if you take a taxi or collectivos to Puno from the airport in Juliaca ask them to drop you off at the dock Reserva communal Feliz-Viane. This is the dock for the islands lodge's.
This is where Joel (the owner of the Lodge) met us to take us on a 20 minute boat ride to the Lodge where the rest of the family (Lucy and Tiago) were waiting for us to give us a warm welcome to the Lodge.
The room was cozy and super cute, the view was unbeatable I mean you are right on the Lake Tikicaca.
The home cooked meals were very generous and absolutely DELICIOUS, thank you Lucy.
Our hosts made sure we were always warm and comfortable throughout our two day stay.
They arranged our tour to Taquile Island (if you have walking issued I would not recommend the hike on the island as it is quite steep) and also our transportation to the Colca Canyon with a very professional and safe driver.
If you are looking for a unique off the grid experience Luz del Titicaca Lodge is the place to stay, you won't be disappointed and you will meet a great family.
Best of luck to Joel and Lucy with their family business.
Cheers.

We all had a great time with the family. They shared with us their unique life style in Uros. We wouldn't have known about their life if we didn't stay with them. We had a great time on boating and having a meal with family. We'd like to come back again and feel the serenity of Titicaca lake.

Incredible views of the lake, at night you can see all the stars in the sky. Joel and his family were perfect hosts, showing us how they live and use the reeds to make their island and homes. Joel also took us fishing early in the morning which was great to see. The food was delicious and good generous portions. The room was very clean and spacious with beautiful artesian textiles and rugs. The bed was very comfy. But the best thing was waking up to the beautiful views and tranquil sounds of the lake lapping against the reeds. Memories that will last forever.
