We wanted to checkin bit late so we arrived at 8 pm but It was such a inconvenience as there was already someone in the property.they claim to have booked on that day as the same day we booked in from. So in the night around 9pm outside of the property we had to stand in the cold and the host was unable to be contacted. Host number was out of reach. Someone we contacted booking staff that helped us. We did not get the same property so we had to leave for new property provided by the booking.com. We could not get taxi for and 1 and half hour. Had terrible experience 😞. Booking.com staff rob was grate help, he got us a very luxury house which was just next suburb. Anytime we contacted him he would respond. Overall it was a roller coaster. We did not get chance to see the solitary view as we did not get chance to even enter the property so Dnt know anything about the property at all. But looked nice from the outside.

spacious, comfy and great for family with kids. fireplace and plenty of heaters.

steep split level stairs, one bedroom downstairs did not have heated blankets and it was very cold without it.

Fantastic location-close to many walking tracks and lookouts, lovely view from big windows, very clean, great gas heater that warmed the whole house.

Didn’t appreciate being woken at 9:40pm to be ‘reminded’ to take out the bins or face a fine. It wasn’t a reminder, we were never told this.

Pillows were dreadful, beds average

Location of this place is excellent; just a few minutes walk to the Wentworth Falls and the national park area. The view from the balcony and the deck is superb. The kitchen has all the facilities, enough China, cooking vessels, and cutlery. Bathrooms and beds are clean. And the house itself is old but well maintained. We particularly liked the arrangements for heating. There are separate TVs in the drawing room, living room and in the bed room on the upper floor. This gives ample scope for the families to choose entertainment options in the evening. The lawn is well maintained. There is space to park two cars. Before arrival we got a message indicating how to access the housekey kept in a numbered lock box at the entrance which is a convenient arrangement. Guests could place the key back in the same box while checking out.

Great location, very easy to access on arrival. Soap / shampoo / conditioner in the bathrooms.

No trash can in the kitchen. Would've been ideal if there could've been some tea and/or coffee in the kitchen - however I realize it is self-catering so that would've been a +1.
