The beds were AMAZING. So soft. Best sleep I've gotten in months. It's a cute place too, in a surprisingly quiet area of Takayama (no noise from the beer pub downstairs. Over the river is a more active area). The staff let us drop our bags off early. It's very spacious--probably too spacious for just two people! We liked it, but it would be especially great for a family or group of friends as it includes 5 beds and a large kitchen/living space.

I like a more bustling area, and this place was a little farther away from the central area for food and other action. But you still had good access to Takayama--there was a smaller restaurant area nearby, and everything else was within a 10 minute walk.

Check in and out procedure clear and quick. Extremely clean and nice. Perfect for a family. Located in the center of takayama but very near to the station. Really perfect

The host thought of every details. All what we need is there, Clean and comfortable house, USBs sockets, bath, family room, comfy rooms and more. It is close to the old city and also to the Train Station.

The house was very clean and smell so good. Facilities is 10 out of 10. Highly recommend for those who are coming to takayama

Cosy, well appointed, excellent location and clean. Despite being next to a beer bar, well managed, respectful customers and bar closes by 8pm.

Bath and bedding linen could be improved with white or neutral shades rather than dark colored which does not give sense of cleanliness - although they are all are. Its about right impact.

The facilities were excellent and we particularly appreciated having a washing machine and dryer. The rooms were comfortable and the house was conveniently located.

There were security cameras inside the property which we found a little strange.

this private house was great. very quiet area ! close to the train station ( 400m), sleeping room was great, kitchen and bathroom so clean. they allow us to let our luggages before 0300pm and after 1000AM when we left. very nice people ! and there is a bar close to the entrance of the private house .. closed at 0800 PM. no noise in the evening !

great location, super clean, washing machine with detergent gel ball and dryer, no need to check in with staff but they give a door code easy to access, etc.

The toilet is on the 2nd floor in bed room. It may inconvenience when people using when others people are sleep. The living room is small I think the house is perfect for family with kids but not for adult group. I recommend host write how to use warm water shower it’s different from usually.

We love the full kitchen, bathtub, washing machine, separate dryer, and location. We had an issue with the water and the owner and an engineer came over and fix it within 30 minutes how awesome is that? In short, the place is highly recommended.

The apartment is extremely clean, comfortable and looks newly refurbished, and it's in a perfect central location. We loved using the kitchen and appreciated all the small design details of the apartment which made the space so functional. It felt very spacious! The speciality beer store next door is great too, the people were lovely.

No parking by the property, but the host kindly provided us with free parking a short walk away.

The house is clean, tidy and cozy. It was set up in a very convenient way for us to use. We felt very comfortable as if we were in our own house. It is also located near to Takayama station and morning market, so it’s convenient for us to go around. Great thanks to the owner of the house for very nice arrangement. Highly recommended for a group of friends or family !
