Travel Back in Time to this Gorgeous 1950's Remodel
Bellamente decorada casa de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños en la cima de la ensenada de La Quinta. A dos cuadras de senderos y senderos para bicicletas. Esta casa de los años 50 ha sido completamente remodelada y actualizada con acabados de diseño. Esta acogedora casa duerme cómodamente 6 y es ideal para familias pequeñas o una escapada romántica para parejas. The house and location are great. The proximity to the Santa Rosa mountains, the walking /hiking trails, the views, and the nearby oases, are outstanding.
The grassy back yard, is private and relaxing, for us and our dog.
The house is equipped with most everything we could need. It’s also a short drive to restaurants and services.
All of the above are reasons we have made repeat visits, for weeks at a time.

Loved everything about the house and the location. It was a lovely weekend and we totally enjoyed our stay. The yard is perfect for relaxation and the kitchen is supplied with everything you could need, comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. A perfect 10

Due to our travel lifestyle, I stayed at over 20 properties last year, and this was the cleanest, most well-stocked property I have ever been to, and the beds were comfortable! If you like being outdoors is close to hiking trails and downtown La Quinta is just a few minutes away.

This home was even more beautiful than depicted in the photos and description. I would not change a thing about it. Beautifully appointed, with every detail considered for guests, my friend and I and my dog enjoyed a fun, relaxing weekend here. Catherine and Tim were exceptionally responsive to our (only one or two) questions. The home is thoughtfully furnished, and impeccably landscaped, we enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, and hikes on the local trails in the canyon just a very short walk from the house. It is a short drive to La Quinta Village where we enjoyed some delicious meals and shopping. I hope to stay here again net year, we loved it.

This is our second time staying at this house. The owners are so generous and classy with everything. They welcome you with a fresh baked goods ( changes every time) so beautiful and comfy house, one minute walk to hiking trails and 2 minute drive to town. All the places we have stayed in the past, they had a long list of to do list before checking out, but this place did not want us to do anything ❤️❤️❤️

Very clean. They have everything and I mean everything you need here. We overpacked thinking I would need basic amenities. This place has all that covered. The house is super clean and welcoming, the yard is spectacular. I had breakfast on “the rock” each morning with my lizard buddies. You are surrounded by beautiful mountains. For us flatlanders of Ohio it truly made my first trip to the desert one to remember. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!

Wonderful experience in La Quinta!
Beautiful house - decorated with every comfort in mind: coffee/tea, filtered water, great linens and beds, and a lovely back yard. Perfect for friends/family. Location was ideal for hiking in the Cove.

We stayed here during the tennis match and therefore spent little time at the house. But when we were there, the house, property and location met every need. Extremely clean, attractive, pleasant and with all needed amenities. The house is remodeled to a 50s style with all modern conveniences--very comfortable and well equipped to deal with heat. As others have pointed out, the yard is large, attractive and really pleasant. We sat outside for breakfast most mornings. Hosts were excellent communicators. Best of all, the house is just 1.5 blocks from an extensive park system with hiking trails of all lengths. Really enjoyed those early morning walks! All in all, a great place to stay!

Beautifully appointed mid-modern house with a great yard, all new appliances, beautiful yard, and super quiet right next to hiking trails. And hosts are super-responsive and thoughtful. A great place for a quiet stay, which is what I wanted, so if that is what you are looking for I highly recommend.

Very clean, beautiful backyard with comfortable furniture, super quiet. Owner is responsive and generous, lots of coffee capsules, paper goods, streaming TV etc. Extra clean sheets and towels. One thing to know is that the bathroom for the second bedroom is not adjacent— you have to walk through the kitchen, dining room, down three steps and across the living room to get there, quite a hike in the middle of the night.

This property looks just like the photos. Charming decor through out and very well maintained. We felt cozy and at home. Unfortunately, we were there for dog shows so we didn’t spend that much time relaxing and hanging out. The dogs absolutely love the yard and were more relaxed than being at a hotel.

This was one of the best VRBO properties we have ever been at. The house is amazing in itself and the yard is fantastic and inviting. The location is phenomenal and a short walk to great walking and hiking trails. All in all it was a great experience.

Best Yet
We have stayed in La Quinta Cove several times - in other houses.
This property, and the Hosts, and everything about the house, yard, and location, is the BEST YET!
We loved everything about our 2 week stay. The yard is beautiful. The hosts responsive,. The house is in a quiet area, and best of all, is within a block or two of access to nearly unlimited hiking/biking trails. The location is convenient to everything we love: The trailheads, the foothills, oases, beautiful scenery, and gorgeous mountains. (Yet, it is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and Target, etc.)
For my wife and I, the whole experience was restorative.

Great location, Quiet Neighborhood
The house is actually as pictured. The yard is huge and well-maintained. Our dog loved it! Outside seating areas private. A quiet neighborhood but a quick drive into Old Town La Quinta where we enjoyed the restaurants, shops and ice cream store! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to other.

Exceptionally Clean House in a Great Location
My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at this home for 7 nights for a golfing/hiking trip. From the start the communication with Catherine and Tim was responsive. Upon arrival at the house we were happy that the house not only looked like the photos, but was even better in person! The house was the cleanest rental house we have ever stayed in and everything seemed new and was in excellent condition. The house was well-stocked with everything you would need. The backyard was truly an oasis and we sat out on the patio every night listening to the peaceful sound of the water feature. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and we never heard any outside noise at night. The house is only 3 blocks from an excellent hiking trail and only a 30-40 minute drive to the Palm Springs area. I would say this house was the best we have ever stayed and we will definitely return next year. I would not hesitate at all to make your reservation at this property.

La Quinta House sets the bar High!
This house sets VRBO standards high. We loved our stay. Tim & Catherine have a well-appointed house that has everything people need for a comfortable, welcoming stay. It is a well-kept, fully stocked house that covers every detail. It’s location is great - near 3 trail heads. The backyard is beautiful and relaxing. This attention to detail was unbelievable. We loved the stay/experience!

Awesome Home - Great neighborhood
I always appreciate it when I arrive at a vacation rental and check for basic kitchen needs including coffee and find I don't have to rush out for supplies. I also appreciated the plate of cookies. Very thoughtful. The house is wonderful, very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the proximity to the cove oasis trails is really nice. The yard is huge being a double lot and provides many seating locations that work well throughout the day. I enjoyed lunch at the table under the tree and sitting out by the gas fire at night. The water feature provides a relaxing sonic backdrop. Super comfortable bed.

Our Second Perfect Experience
This is the second time my wife and I have rented this property from Tim and Catherine. From the moment we book until the time we check out the experience is seamless. The house is super well equipped and spotless throughout.
We have two dogs and the outside space is large and secure and it is very evident how much they love their stay as well by the fun they have in the garden

Dog friendly La Quinta gem
I searched for over two hours on line to rent a house to stay with dogs and finally gave up and booked a hotel. I was entered in the local dog shows and really wanted to find a house with a yard to rent for the dogs. I was not quite ready to give up on the idea of renting a house so looked on VRBO. I found Tim and Catherine’s house with the double lot and big back yard and knew it would be perfect.
But we got so much more than that! The house is very tranquil inside and out. The attention to detail is amazing. It feels like a house that deserves coverage in a magazine.
It has all the comforts of being home. And the dogs were much more at ease and less stressed than the usual hotel stays. I just wish we had more time to enjoy hanging out in the back yard with the gorgeous views of the mountains with the sound of the fountain and hummingbirds.
Tim and Catherine were great hosts. Communication was very easy with them.
I definitely look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful house as advertised
The house was incredibly clean. The kitchen is very well stocked to make a proper meal. The backyard is huge. We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the firepit while our German Shepherd was thrilled to play in the grass. The owner left us chocolate chip cookies which was delightful. Would definitely stay here again on another getaway to Palm Springs.

Amazing backyard and SO CLEAN!
If you have kids (or pets) - this is the place to stay! Huge fenced-in yard so the kids can roam freely. Walking distance to the hikes. Beautiful mountain views from the kitchen table. It was absolutely spotless and I am a total neat freak! We will definitely return. Thank you Catherine & Tim for your hospitality.

Christmas Getaway
This property is amazing. You could not ask for anything more. Highlights, cleanliness of the entire space was impeccable. Preparations for guests with little amenities such as baking pans, storage containers, Ziploc bags, and logs for the indoor fireplace. The outdoor space was amazing, beautiful peaceful backyard with a glass fire table. Owners were responsive and helpful. The area is perfectly located a few blocks from beautiful trails and walking spots. Great for sunsets and exploring, truly remarkable Christmas with my family 2021. The dogs loved to run around the backyard and neighbors were friendly. We watched movies, crafted and ordered in. This is a wonderful home.

Tranquil off the beaten path
Beautiful and well-appointed home situated in a quiet residential area, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Santa Rosa mountains. Wish our stay had been longer to explore all the hiking trails nearby. The well kept fenced in backyard was a safe place for our small dog to freely roam as we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. We hope to be able to stay there again when next in the area.

Fabulous Experience
My wife and I had the most wonderful experience and Tim and Catherine's lovely home in La Quinta Cove. We use VRBO a lot and this has to be the nicest, cleanest and most well equipped house we have stayed out. The attention to detail was exceptional and the responsiveness from Catherine was immediate.
We enjoyed many a gorgeous evening in their garden watching the mountains change color as the sun went down enjoying a nice glass of wine

2 adult friends recently spent a long weekend at the property. The house was spotless clean. The furnishings and decor are soothing & comfortable. The attention to quality & detail is evident in every room. The beds, linens, towels all high quality. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The owners had fresh baked cookies waiting for us. The house is on a spacious lot, with grass, shade tree, soothing water feature & comfortable patio furnishings. Beautiful location
Enjoyed the beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. The waterfall is so beautiful. We sat outside every morning and loved listening to it. We walked over to hike some trails both evenings at sunset. The beds were so very comfortable. Perfect get away in Spring with our teens.

Amazing Property Tucked in the Mountains of La Quinta, California!
This experience was 5 star from booking to check-out. Very friendly owners with great communication, and fast response times. All the information regarding check-in was easily explained prior to arrival. Once on the property site we were wowed with the layout of the property both inside and out. Very clean, modern amenities and an overall comfortable vibe. Plush green grass in the backyard with mountain views, as well as an outdoor seating area and BBQ grill. Inside, plenty of seating areas for dining. Immaculate kitchen with just about every utentil you would need to help you prepare a wonderful meal. The main bedroom had a super comfortable bed with nice, fluffy pillows. Glass shower and bathroom were extremely clean and there were plenty of towels, soap, q-tip, hand sanitizer etc. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return for another stay in the future! This place is truly a gem!
