Lovely decor & spotlessly clean ,we stayed in the spacious Deluxe suite 1 .Huge bathroom with a great bath & shower .Bed was very large & comfy . Sofa in sitting area was comfy & could be made up into a bed if wanted .lots of sockets & a mini fridge with fresh milk .kettle ,tea,coffee & sugar ,top up with more if required by asking Grace was very chatty & helpful with anything we needed Breakfast was asked for in advance of staying via email ,& was just what we needed to start the day ,worth the extra charge Would definitely recommend. The Hotel is managed by Larna who is exceptional and ensures you have a comfortable stay. Larna not only prepares the rooms to a high level of cleanliness but she also provides one of the best breakfast's in Torquay. Best described as a boutique Hotel, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing bad at this Hotel.

Easy to find, friendly staff and only a 10-15 minute walk to the harbour.

Quite dated inside and the bathroom could use an update.

Great location, was upgraded foc to a better room.

Car parking was very tight. The bollards between Ascot house and the adjacent hotel made parking very difficult when the steep driveway was wet. It's the only thing which would prevent a return visit. At the very least the bollards should be removed.

Rooms were wonderful

Awful location. Too long a walk to any decent restaurants. Breakfast very poor for money nothing like their gallery.

I loved the accommodations and the peace of the place this with the use of Buddhas. Also friendliness of staff also location.

Parking on a very deep hill but manageable. Needed access for Disabled guest.

The location was good with easy travel by bus or by foot to the bayside.
