Everything about the Madiera House was wonderful. The house is well appointed for an extended stay and is tastefully decorated..we especially enjoyed the original art. Of course, the location couldn’t be more convenient for walking through town or minutes from walking the headlands. Quiet and peaceful.. the front porch and garden were lovely too. We would definitely return.

Location was perfect! Lots of room for my friends and me. We came over a holiday weekend and the office was closed but we eventually found the key. Maybe a note from the owner on where to find the key if no one was in the office? It all worked out, though. The garden was beautiful, kitchen was well-appointed. We could walk to shops and restaurants as well as the bluffs trail.

This was our 2nd time staying here. The home is clean and light and airy and the location is priceless for shopping, dining, and wandering!

This was much more spacious than I thought it would be, given the location. Properties in Mendocino tend to be fairly tiny. But there was plenty of room for my family of four to spread out. My husband and I had the King room downstairs, my son had the queen upstairs, and my daughter was happy to have the office sofa bed all to herself. The location was convenient to everything in town. And the porch and garden are lovely. We loved our stay.

Highly suggest staying here as perfect location. Please note, two bedrooms upstairs and steep stairs. The flowers around house are amamzing! Easy walk to all stores and trails.

The location is great, close to everything. Everything was very convenient except for the bed in downstairs bedroom (the mattress is super firm and pillows are not good quality). Otherwise a great place!

We spent 5 day/4 nights in this wonderful home. We loved the feeling of the house and all of its amenities. My sister and I spent hours walking along the cliffs, exploring the neighborhoods and surrounding area. Can’t beat the location! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything was stunning and lovely with the house. It was everything we needed for our family’s stay in Mendocino. The location could not have been better. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the beds were comfortable, the backyard was private. The pictures do not even tell how beautiful this home is - the layout was perfect and the decor was calm and inviting. We would not hesitate to rent again.
