We spent 5 days here with 4 adults and 4 kids/teens. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were stunned with the house, location, beach, view, etc. The beds were so comfortable - made us want to upgrade our mattresses at home! The space is clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes. If you are staying longer than a few days, bring your own disposables- laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. We used Walmart+ to have groceries delivered. The location is perfect. You walk right out onto the beach, which is gorgeous. We brought a canopy, but used the chairs, boogie boards, sand toys provided. We saw lots of ocean life - dolphins, jelly fish, ghost crab, blue crab, sting rays, hermit crab, etc. Wish we would have brought a throw net! Herb was a great host, easy to communicate with. We can’t say enough about the views, house, and location. One of the best vacations we have had. Highly recommend!

We loved our week at this home. It has been beautifully updated inside and out. The porch is perfect, there’s a grill and plenty of parking, and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc. Overall, we loved this home and would stay again.

"Our family spent a week here. The house is so close to the beach that you are practically still on the beach while at the house. It is clean, well-decorated, and has all the amenities we need. The host is great to work with. We've already booked it for next year."

Perfect location with the beach as your backyard! Super receptive and friendly property manager. Home was clean with open bright atmosphere. Beach chairs, tubes, body boards and beach toys available on site. We'll be booking this home again for our vacation next year.

I've been to this property twice now and it's one of my favorites. Location is perfect with amazing beach access. Always clean and love the updates since I was last there. Will stay here as often as I can when I'm down visiting.

The accommodations were very good and beach access and view was great! However, for a place that was fairly expensive it would certainly have been nice to have had more than 1 roll of tp for each bathroom for 8 days!
Certainly —at a cost of perhaps $6-7 for convenience and public relations for your rental customers, it would be money well spent. Also, did not find enough trash bags on site. One person in our group of 4 also commented about an uneven deck area on the ground level where she stumbled. Could some bright tape or paint be put on the area uneven to highlight? There were also some uneven areas on steps such as at the top of the stairway going up to the main entrance. Sometimes it is the little things that leave a lasting impression.
All in all it was a very nice place to stay and for that reason I gave it 5 stars.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. It is right on the beach and is very well stocked with dishes, beach toys, and games. The extra refrigerator in the basement came in handy!
We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. We got to see dolphins playing. The water doesn't get deep for a little bit so this might be a great location for those with smaller kids.
We were just a short drive from everything Gulf Shores has to offer. We really loved this quiet getaway and will definitely rent again!
The only things to consider for the owner. It might be helpful to specifically mention there are no beach towels. Also, there were 8 of us for an 8 day period and 2 garbage bags, 2 laundry detergent pods, and 2 rolls of toilet paper are not enough for that period. It would be great if those things had been better stocked.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this beautiful home and would definitely stay again. It had everything we needed so we were able to spend time relaxing and enjoying ourselves. The homeowner responded quickly to any questions we had. The beach is incredible whether relaxing on the deck or searching for shells, paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, swimming, etc. Another amazing family vacation, Priceless!!!!

A group of friends stayed in Gulf Shores for our annual weekend getaway and Pelican Place East was a delight. The accommodations were wonderful and the view was to die for. Fantastic home and gorgeous ocean view. Kitchen was well stocked as far as pots, pans,dishes, etc. Home was right on the beach. The back deck is spacious and we sat out there and enjoyed the evenings. We were extremely satisfied with this property and the host was very easy to contact and got back with us quickly.

The owner was extremely helpful and attentive. The view and access to the beach is spectacular! Can’t be beat! Perfect for my older mother to sit and enjoy the views either in the shade or full sun on the lower deck. Pictures do not do it justice and there have been updates to furniture etc since they were taken. Can tell a lot has been put in for upkeep of replacing wood and landscaping. Ceilings have evidence of a lot of past leaks, that is the only drawback and no leaks occurred while there. I am sure it is on the list to repair soon as the rest of the property was very well kept.

Great mother son trip
We had three moms and 6 sons on our trip. The rental house had everything needed for the beach: tent, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, etc. The house was fully stocked with everything the moms needed as well. Great trip and would definitely recommend! We left our inflatables for the next guests to enjoy!

Cute Beach Home
Can't say enough good things about this beach home. It's located away from all the crowds but close enough to all the restaurants and activities. The home had all kinds of beach toys for kids and fully equipped kitchen. There is also washer and dryer available which was a plus. The beach area is right over the dunes and was never busy. The owner was very easy to deal with and took care of any issues quickly. We will definitely be back at this beach home!

This house has it all!
The house was clean and very well equipped and maintained for our family needs. Young Kid and Senior-age friendly. The location was perfect. Beach was right in the back porch, and the lagoon right across from the front door. Beach was also clean and quiet. The size of the house was perfect and lovely back deck. Open concept, large double sliding back doors, spacious rooms, kitchen, comfy beds, decent closet size etc. Our new Gulf Shores house for next time. Pictures don't do this house justice.

Amazing family getaway
We loved it! This was a family getaway to build some memories with our 92 year-old father. It met all expectations. Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy Beach access, great location, great deck to look out over the ocean. As an added treat there were two mornings we saw porpoises jumping. Thank you Herb!
