Home is beautifully decorated, well maintained, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was a joy for my sister and I to cook in together with tons of space and all the pots pans tools we needed. 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 4,10 and 17) found plenty of room to be together or apart as they desired. Billiards in the lower level was lots of fun and we were regularly amazed by the bald eagles that flew right by the living room windows and the seals bobbing out in the bay. Sunrises were amazing. Karen was super responsive, pleasant and offered great suggestions for places to visit and things to do in the area (if you stay here be sure to hike the Split Rock Trail…one of the most beautiful I have ever seen). There were more mosquitoes in the backyard than we expected so we were not able to spend very much time on the beautiful decks but perhaps that was because it was very humid during our visit. We felt welcome and at home during our entire stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home.

We absolutely loved Karen's home on the Bay of Fundy. The home is beautiful, clean, large and nicely decorated with items from local crafters. The view is gorgeous and we loved watching the tides go in and out and the ships in the Bay. The seals are so cute! Highly recommend!

The house was perfect; filled with everything you would need in the home; on top of that it had the best views of the bay up close. Pleasure to be outside to see the tides changing & the aquatic life. Very peaceful & pleasant location.

Incredible location on the Bay. The bald eagle in the tree in the back yard captured its unspoiled beauty. Great space. Everything we needed for a group of 6 adults and an infant. Wonderful personal touches from host like homemade jam.

What a lovely place, and what a thoughtful owner! Everything about check-in and our stay was seamless, but we knew Karen was available had any questions come up. She checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we wanted for nothing.
The views are incredible and the property is exactly as advertised. We sat on the deck for hours watching porpoises, seals, eagles, and all the ships passing in the Bay of Fundy. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a restful space among the wildlife!

This Lorneville rental home was just amazing! It is recently renovated, squeaky clean, exactly as pictured and all amenities just as described on the VRBO listing. We were 3 couples and had more than enough space for lounging together or maybe getting a little privacy. The kitchen area is so spacious that all of us could be in the kitchen area together. Loved the outdoor spaces—a large deck right outside the living room and the deck perched over the Bay of Fundy. The host is the most—great communicator and gave us so many good pointers for sightseeing, shopping and dining, We all fell in love with this special home and plan to return.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay. The views are amazing. An abundance of wildlife to watch. The house was well equipped and very clean. Karen offered tips on restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommended!

This house was amazing… it came well stocked with lots of condiments! Karen ( host) went over and beyond what would be expected, she had welcome gifts there for us as well aS play pkgs for the kids!!

House was beautiful and just as described. Plenty of room for 10 of us and the view is great. Didn’t want to leave. We have travelled a lot and had such a great experience. Bought lobsters from

This property is so spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time as a family with plenty of room for everyone. The house has everything you need to relax plus the sweet, little ‘gift shop’ with all proceeds going to a local charity that means a lot to my family was a special treat. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay when we go back to Saint John! Thank you!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL property which was big enough for the whole family. The house is flawless and extremely well equipped for grand feast preparations every day! Views of the ocean are spectacular and the grounds are lovely even in November.
Our stay and overall experience was wonderful and we would love to visit again in warmer weather!

Another fabulous stay at the Ocean Breeze! Amazing Sunrises at a great quality house, viewing the largest tides in the world. You are often greeted by many neighborhood deer in the yard and harbor seals off the lower deck. Such a wonderful place to visit! We will be back next year!

This is a lovely property. It is decorated attractively and is comfortable and inviting. The owner was delightful and easy to communicate with. Beautiful sunrises from every room. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Five star home.

This house is amazing. Very comfortable with great amenities ( ie: soaking tub with a view, great beds, well equipped kitchen). The location was perfect for us in that it is secluded but close to city and activities. Views are great from the decks. We watched seals and eagles every morning while we sipped our coffee. We will stay here again every time we are in the area.

We were looking for a chill spot for six adults on the Bay of Fundy with a great view and boy did we find it! The deck provided excellent viewing for the occasional bald eagle flyby, seals ( they almost appeared white), dolphins, sea gulls, and blue herons. Plus one morning when the foggy conditions cooperated we enjoyed a spectacular sunrise. We were met with some nice chocolates, a welcome sign and other gifts— a nice touch from Karen. Plus you can buy some gifts displayed in the house ( money goes to a charity). Weather did not permit us to hike on the nearby shoreline trail but we did take an all day trip on the Fundy Trail ( check fog conditions before you go) to Hopewell Rocks. Also be sure and check out the fabulous menu at Lily’s Restaurant in St John. We loved the house and view and would recommend to anyone.

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. We enjoyed having coffee and watching the tides ebb and flow from the deck over the water as well as just about every room in the house. One of the big advantages of this location is you can get to Nova Scotia via the Saint John Ferry to Digby, visit the Hopewell Rocks, Saint Martin and St. Andrew by the Sea (our favorite). The kitchen is fairly well stocked for any cooking you may want to do. Outside grill worked just fine as well. Nice sized fridge. We would stay here again if we come to the area.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the Bay of Fundy Breeze. Karen is an exceptional host. The views were great and we saw seals, porpoises, bald eagles and deer.
The house is perfectly situated on the bay so you can see the tides go up and down.
We did the sunset at Black Beach , looked for whales at New River Beach and walked along the Irving Beach and park.
St. John’s is a 15 min drive away and easy to get around.
We highly recommend this house for a great vacation getaway.

We loved this house. Everything was perfect. Quiet, peaceful and serene. Wonderful to sit out on the back deck and the extra deck over the water with a glass of wine. We saw a lot of wildlife, including a family of Harbor Seals that basked in the sun below us.
Bed in master bedroom was oooohh so comfy! Luxurious linens as well. Cute step stool to get up onto the big mattress and topper, which my short self needed. Master bathroom looked like it belonged in House Beautiful. Loved the double vanity. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Big windows looked out over the Bay of Fundy from almost every room. A/C worked well, and brand new washer and dryer. Sweet tooth was satisfied by the large box of chocolates and all the little chocolates by each bed. Even a small jar of homemade Blueberry Jam.
Can't wait to come back, and plan to book a much longer stay. Karen was really easy to communicate with, and loved meeting her and her husband. Do stop by the "Pumpkin Patch" for not just veggies, but meats, and ice cream!

Had a wonderful time, despite foggy, wet weather virtually all week. But location is wonderful and the rental house was spectacular, not to mention the live lobsters we managed to purchase (with proper cooking instructions!) from our landlady. Would return in a heartbeat.

This was our first trip to the Bay of Fundy area of Canada and it was 100% perfection. The home is so large, the outside is deceiving, because once you get in the house it has huge windows looking out over the water, totally open concept, and decks on the house with another deck down by the water. We enjoyed watching the tides come in and out from the decks.
The home owner could not have been kinder and more helpful. She guided us to beaches and activities for the kids to do in the rain, thank goodness!

This property was everything that we hoped it would be and more. Very quiet and secluded, except for the sounds of the sea (waves, birds and buoy sounds).
We loved the layout of the house and the privacy it offered to our kids when they wanted to have some time on their own to decompress.
Our hosts (Karen and Kenny) were amazing and very responsive to our messages…they even offered cooking tips when we decided to cook fresh caught lobster one evening.
I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and accommodating home to stay in.

The house was great. Kitchen was well equipped. You cannot put into words the view, it was incredible. Location was Close enough to St John but very quiet peaceful area. Owner was helpful and responded quickly. I would definitely stay again.

There is so much to say about our stay, we had a fantastic time. The property was exactly how it is described. Karen was amazing to communicate with, from check in, during our stay giving recommendations and check out. There was more than enough room for the nine of us that were staying here. The views, wow!! Wish our stay was longer, if we are ever back in this area we would stay again for sure. Thanks again for everything!!
