Garden Cottage in stunning rural location but only 5 minutes from Taunton.
El escondite elegante y espacioso del arquitecto en un campo glorioso con 7 acres de jardines, praderas, bosques y estanques para explorar. El salón tiene una estufa de leña para mantenerte cómodo en los meses de invierno (así como un sistema completo de calefacción central, por supuesto). La cocina está abierta planificada, pequeña pero bien equipada. Hay 2 dormitorios; el dormitorio principal tiene una cama doble, mucho espacio y un baño privado, mientras que la habitación familiar tiene 2 camas dobles con cuarto de baño al otro lado de la sala de estar. En el exterior hay una gran terraza que da al jardín y hay mucho espacio de estacionamiento cerca de la propiedad.

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Great communication, helpful directions, very friendly. The very large garden is really something else, such a beautiful setting :)

Very nice property to just relax and take in the wonderful scenery. A bit off the beaten track and narrow lanes to get there but it is great to get away from the rush and just chill.

We loved our break here and our kids especially loved the huge garden, mini football pitch and ponds. Would hope to come back

The property is well equipped although some sharp kitchen knives would help in the kitchen. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good heating.Great to sit in the garden or on the patio to look out over the garden and fields. Although out in the country it was very easy to get into Taunton to shop etc when needed. We stayed in March with lots of wind and rain and still enjoyed our stay. In the summer it will be wonderful if you want a quiet get away. Wifi signal is weak, the strongest signal being by the book shelves right of the fire place.

Garden Cottage is quiet and comfortable, Alan is a great host. A good find, we enjoyed our stay.

We found the Garden Cottage spacious, well-equipped and clean, together with being an ideal base for beautiful walks in the Somerset countryside. Equally, Taunton and Wellington are a few minutes drive away. The Half Moon pub in the village is a short walk away, with a delicious Sunday lunch available at a very reasonable price. We fully recommend this property to families and small groups.

We loved this place. It had comfortable beds, great family spaces and a beautiful garden with a view across fields. One of the best homes I've stayed in, I highly recommend it for a calming break with space for the kids to play outside.

As above, this is a very spacious and well appointed apartment in a lovely setting, with all that one needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay ... once one gets used to the narrow lanes!

Mixed feelings
House situated in lovely quiet location however property not cleaned properly to receive new guests; cobwebs, dust and dead flies left in many places. Although owner tried to be helpful there was insufficient and intermittent Wi-Fi which was not apparent from the advertised amenities plus oven difficult to operate and cooking utensils quite worn out.

Peaceful and tranquil stay
Really relaxing and enjoyable break. The cottage had everything we needed and the gardens were beautiful. We had special visitors ( cat and dog) which were loved. by the kids. Would recommend this place as it's a perfect location to visit North Somerset and South Devon as well as Taunton and surrounding areas

Dayly inspection of ten neighboring cattle herd is a nice bonus. We appreciated the quietness and tranquility.
