Fairly central location, spacious apartment and nice outdoor space.

The apartment wasn’t particularly clean, with a lot of dust and cobwebs. The kitchen tap was broken and sprayed out water and both showers leaked onto the floor. The lock on one bathroom door was also temperamental. We communicated to the agency that the kitchen sink was leaking into the below cupboard and we were told that it would be difficult to find someone to fix this due to it now being August. We also returned one day to find part of the garden lifted up, with a battery and other components lying across the floor. On the same day, we also had no hot water. We communicated this to the agency and spoke with the owner on the phone who said there was no issue with the water and we must have had too many showers that day. This was not the case and we still continued to have cold water for a few hours. We also queried why the garden had been left in a mess and asked whether this was done by the people who watered the garden (who turned up unannounced) and the owner stated that they would not have done this and somebody else must have. We also raised the kitchen sink issue with the owner and he advised that this was the first he had heard of this issue (the agency clearly did not pass this on). We were also missing the basics, with only a couple of toilet rolls to last 10 days and no additional bin bags. There was also only one set of keys which made it a little difficult for us as a group of travellers. A pile of broken glass was also left in the corner of the outdoor space where the prior guests had broken the shower door.

the property is clean, except for some cub webs, and new. the kitchen is fully equipped with nice dishes and appliances. little front garden is cute. there is a washer in one of the bathrooms which we used for all the dirty clothes we had piled during our 3 week trip. it’s right by the train station but you don’t hear the train! very nice place!

the smaller room with a single bed doesn’t have A/C so I left my window open all night. I would have put a bunk bed in the smaller room to accommodate an additional guest. The bathroom fan made a loud and nasty noise which would wake everyone up if turned on. I would have preferred being greeted by our host in person, at some point. I found out that there was no cleaning services available but thankfully, we could do without.

The staff who gave instructions on the check in and out was excellent and responded immediately to all my queries.

It would've been more helpful if there were more explicit instructions on the waste sorting and temperature control in the accomodation.

The apartment is spacious and fully accessorised. It is right in the city centre, great the parking place with garage included.

The room was stinking a bit of mould, for the rest no negative sides. The price is high for one family, the best would be to split between friends or 2 couples.

Beds weren’t great, particularly sofa bed. Second bedroom was tiny.

The apartment is spacious, clean and cosy. The location is perfect for visiting Como! It is not directly on the main road and therefore quiet, but with a 10 minute walk you are in the centre of Como with all the bars, restaurant and cafés, or at the lake. A 25 minute walk away, there is Villa Olmo beach. All facilities were there and functional; the kitchen, the air-conditioning, the showers, the TV and internet. I would definitely recommend this!

The apartment is very big, modern, and very well equipped with everything that you need. The location had a separate entrance for this apartment which is on the ground floor and a private garden. The garage is quite big and tall for Italian standards. My 7 seat car (Renault Grand Scenic) with extra Thule box entered without any effort in this garage Lorenzo sent me via Whatsapp all the necessary information for collecting the keys and was very responsive to any question that I had during my journey. The location is close to the city center (a few minutes by foot).

The street can be a bit nosy because of the Italian scooters.
