Bungalow Blue is so cute!! The location is walking distance to everything you need. The house was clean had all the amenities you needed . Host was easy to reach and responsive . We will go back . Oh and they are dog friendly our pups Izzy and Brody loved the house they even had a comfortable dog blanket for them. Safe fully fenced. Had wine in the backyard while they lounged in the grass

Blue Bungalow was perfect. Clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The master suite can be closed off so that you can't hear the late night owl in your party. The yard is well shaded and the porches were great. The easy entry system was great, too. There are restaurants and a great market within walking distance and gas station with a convenience store across the alley. It is also an easy walk or bike ride to Downtown Bend. It was also an easy drive to the Old Mill district and OSU Cascades campus. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Bend at A Stone’s Throw Bungalow! The location was very convenient to restaurants and the market. The house itself is very clean and well maintained. We loved the bungalow vibes and the front porch. For those with a dog or small children looking for a fenced in yard, this house works very well. Although the listing mentions a fenced yard, it wasn’t clear to us from the photos, but I can confirm the front and back of the property are both fenced. There is a large, swinging gate that covers the driveway entrance.
Communication from the property manager was always very clear and timely.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this place is fantastic! Check-in process was flawless, communication was prompt, and the house was great! You are not going to find a comfortable bed (maybe not even your own), house is perfect for a couple (or two), or a family of 4. It was close to everything that Bend had to offer. Why stay somewhere else? When we return to Bend, we won't look elsewhere. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We enjoyed our time in Bend and the house was perfect for walking to town, riding bikes, and walking to our dinners. It was well nicely decorated and perfect size for our family of 5. Looking forward to returning to the Bungalow Blue!

This is my first time writing a review. Was going to let it go but kept getting reminded to write a review... I was recovering from broken leg, so wanted a change of scenery and specifically looked for a place with a nice tub that for me to sit and bathe. The master bedroom has a nice tub and they allowed cats which were the main reasons for booking.The place had good reviews.
But on the 1st night, I turned on ONLY the hot water of the master tub, only barely luke warm water came out. I thought it just needed time, and got into the tub. But the water never got warm, only alternating between cold and barely warm. It was so cold that I had to escape from the tub. I contacted the management who sent a handyman out the next AM. The handyman said the power of the water heater was too weak to heat enough hot water and send it all the way to the master bedroom, nothing he could do. Then the management sent a plumbing company to come, and we had to wait for hours to show them the problem. The plumbing company had the same conclusion. The water heater just wasn't powerful and big enough to send hot water that long distance. I am surprised no one has posted anything about that. Then we also had problems with the shower of the front bathroom. We basically wasted almost a full day of our 1st day of vacation contacting the management, waiting for the repair people and a solution.
At that point, we wanted to leave and asked for refund so that we can book another place. We couldn't get a definitive answer from the management, and had nowhere to go, so had to stay for another night. The next day, we were still waiting for answer from the management to see how much refund we can get. We were told that we would be getting the majority of our payment back including cleaning fee, but it would take some time. We found another place and decided to not to waste any more time there.
To check out, we spent over an hour gathering the sheets, cleaning up the kitchen, and tidying up the place before we left, more so than what we would typically do for other vacation home. There were existing pet hair under the bed, bathroom corners when we got there. Appliances were old.
We eventually got about half of our $ back. They complained about us loading too many dishes in dishwasher (the roller actually came off before we loaded dishes). We were just glad to get some refund and out of there, and got to enjoy what's left of our vacation elsewhere.

What a fantastic, quirky little house in the most perfect location! Perfect for our family. We walked and explored every nearby park in the mornings, bikes to dinner and breweries in the afternoon and enjoyed the fantastic weather on the back porch!

Great Spot to Stay
We were able to walk to the river, Downtown, restaurants and market, which makes the location a prime plus. The house is comfortable and having two separate "primary bedrooms" gives everyone extra privacy! A Stone's Throw Agency is outstanding to work with. We appreciated their 5 star attentive customer service and ease of communicating with them. Thanks again for everything!

The House was centrally located to take advantage of amenities in the neighborhood as well as a short walk to downtown. We never needed to use our car. Diana responded in minutes to any questions we had.

Great property! It was everything we expected; clean, well equipped and in a great neighborhood. We had a dog so not having rugs in the house really helped as I worry the dog will track in dirt and stain carpets. The home was an older house so dont expect the Marriot. It's located a couple of blocks from a grocery store and and a great coffee place. We would stay here again.

Great location and loved the fenced yard
The house was everything we wanted for a long weekend anniversary getaway. There was a great walkable breakfast spot - that even had special items for our pup - that we’d grab treats from and then come back to the house and enjoy our coffee on the lovely back deck. The house was super convenient to many other walkable food and drink spots as well. And we loved that it had a fully fenced yard for our puppy so that she could have some run around time without having to keep her on the leash. I was also a big fan of the walk-in shower - it’s inspired me to look at converting mine at home! I would absolutely stay there again when we visit Bend.

Fit Out Needs Perfectly
The three of us have traveled together often and this place was perfect for our needs. Each room has a unique feature that made it different and perfect for the person who chose it.
The kitchen is very well equipped. - we traveled with everything we needed to cook a feast but were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t need most of what we brought.
The location is fantastic. Close to downtown, lots of opportunities for long walks, two blocks from Newport Market and Back Porch Coffee.
Fully fenced yard makes bringing the dogs a snap. We brought everything for the dogs too and, again, the place had everything we brought.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait for the next time we go to Bend to stay here again

The house was great. We were a party of 4 adults and one dog. There was plenty of room and would have been fine with 6 people. This is a lovely neighborhood with a grocery store and some good restaurants and parks just a few blocks away. We would all recommend!

Fabulous cottage in Bend
These 3 bedroom / 2 1/2 bath property was perfect for our family. Walking distance to a lovely market just down the road and a charming restaurant and coffee shop in that same area. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed using the grill outside. Additional fans were available in addition to the air conditioning unit, so we were quite comfortable. Thanks for the fabulous stay.
