Toilet, v small crowded basin area, no soap dish also in the shower cubicle

Overall a very pleasant experience.

No complaints, few guests wanted non vegetarian food

The resort was clean, luxurious and comfortable

We had to call the maintenance to fix the bathroom lock... Rest all was fine...

The property is right at the entry of Ekta Nagar and opposite the railway station. The resort is very clean and well laid out.

The rooms don’t feel spacious and are not well appointed. The furniture is all brown and feels gloomy. Some bright fixtures would help. The room service and restaurant staff need improvement - once they did not deliver our order for chocolate milkshakes. They can be more forthcoming and communicative overall.

In the room fan was located in the far corner side of the bed. Even AC was not near.. So felt a bit hot 🥵 during night time.

Very little to like.

One of the terrible stays that I experienced. Will make me think twice about visiting any Fern Hotels. Room was unclean. There was no one at gym till 9.30 am. After that, only some cleaning staff appeared. There was no water nor any towels in the gym. The AC was not switched on and there was no AC remote. Gym equipments were sparse and inadequate. Only gym mat was dirty. I had to go to the spa in ground floor to fetch water, towels, AC remote, etc. Breakfast spread was terrible. The staff manning the buffet were inexperienced. And to top it all, the hotel has a check out time of 10 am which is so early and very unusual. Just because there was marriage booking, the hotel staff me hassled me by repeated calls to check out even though I requested that I should be given an extra 30 to 45 minutes. I spoke about this to the duty manager Alok and front desk persons, Sagar and Sarvan and they did not care one bit. This hotel is quite expensive (more than Rs 9000 per night), almost on par with the Taj hotel in Ahmedabad but the boarding and lodging totally sucks. In general, I will advise guests to not stay in Ektanagar at all but stay in Vadodara where hotels are much cheaper and better and just travel by road during the day to Ektanagar. Manager and Reception were very friendly, good location and facilities available for the given area. Breakfast options and menu were fantastic. Compliments to the Chef for the Breakfast menu.

Housekeeping staff seemed a bit unresponsive, had to wait 45 mins for a hair dryer after calling reception 4 times in-between. The dining area was really small, staff there were least bothered to assist with seating arrangements despite asking for assistance multiple times, dinner menu seemed to be missing the local taste and cuisine options however the breakfast was great. Extra Bed costs were high but all that's included is a pull out sofa bed and a bed sheet/blanket(no extra mattress provided), when we asked for pillows we were told to use the ones from the bed which seemed a bit odd and rude. Mixed bag overall but the whole area does seem to be developing at the moment so I'm hoping to see some improvement. Not the typical Fern Stay experience I've had in the other locations previously and definitely not worth the current price.
