The owner is very good. While I made a room mistake that causes her, problem, she remained very nice and professional. Book without hesitation.

issues were dead bugs on window sill loose cables in cupboard no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as advertised no microwave in room either as advertised.

It was close enough to walk to the centre, plus close to some nice green areas. Very quiet area at night, comfy bed.

The shared facilities were a little odd, especially as the toilet is set on it's own in a separate room from the sink and shower. It was a shame that the only key for the front door is in a lockbox outside at all times, and it's difficult to get into at night without a light source.

The house was like a home from home and we were instructed that we could use any of the shared facilities which were well kept and pleasant enough to use and well stocked. It was nice to stay somewhere with good facilities.

The email about the security code didn't come through so we had to call the owner but she answered quickly and was happy to run through everything with us so that wasn't that bad. The location isn't very central but we knew that when we booked. The people in the neighbouring room were quite loud but that can't be helped and isn't the fault of the owner as it is just rooms in a house. The only real complaint that could be made (and it's a comfort thing on our part) is that it would have been nice to have more pillows.
