We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rosy Spoonbill for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was plenty big enough for 6 adults and 6 children, 8 and under. The home was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed for meal prep and serving! In addition, they supplied travel cribs for the little ones and a baby gate for safety. It was a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed being able to get to Galveston easily while being 'outside' of all the tourist hustle and bustle. Courtney was an excellent host and responded to all our questions/concerns promptly. We would definitely recommend the home to others and will stay there again when in the Galveston area.

Our entire family had a great time at this house. The beach was enjoyable without the feeling of overcrowded. It was a little bit of a walk down but not too bad. The house was tremendously well-stocked. We have had homes where you have to bring your own cups and plates if you have more than 5 ppl, so this was just such a delight. Everything was taken care of and the hosts were fantastic. They communicated well and were prompt to respond. The porches were nice to sit on in the evening. We always drove to the clubhouse, but it wasn't very far. The hosts even had a packnplay for my 1.5yr old and a stair guard that we could put up for her safety. Overall - a wonderful stay was had by our entire party. And the hosts made is such an easy and fun trip - cheers to them. One small note - The upstairs room does get a little warm but they provided some additional fans.

The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for our stay. Courtney was very responsive and so helpful when we needed it. I would absolutely rent here again!

We all enjoyed the house very much! We cooked everyday vice going out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We got the golf cart which was very helpful when going to the Beach Club. We had a short walk to the beach. The last day we rented a canopy which we asked to be placed behind the Beach Club. It was great!! I would highly recommend this beach house!

The hosts of this property were fabulous and responsive! The house was well maintained and well stocked! We would definitely come back!

This home was perfect for our family of 9!! The home was super clean and the best stocked kitchen I've stayed at! No need to bring a thing with you!! It's a great location to the bridge over to the beach and a quick drive to the Clubhouse pool and lazy river! Courtney was awesome to work with. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful home! Nicely decorated! EVERYTHING we could need was there! Even plenty of toilet paper & paper towels!! Mattresses comfy, even the twin bunk beds! I slept on bottom w my grandsons on top bunks! Balcony is amazing! Loved the area underneath house, cool breeze, lots of room for kids to run! We had all our evening meals there! Seriously one of the best places we’ve stayed over period of about 10 years of staying at various locations . Only downer is it’s a good ways to beach, hard for my 86 yo mom to get down to beach, but she did it!! Also, challenging to get all the “beach stuff” down & then take down & bring back in evening. (Beach rules, not owners fault) The club pool is nice! Just a few min by car or golf cart. The Lazy River/Sunset pool across main road is nice too! Again, car/golf cart takes about 5/10 min, respectively. Even w the beach being a little challenging to maneuver w all the “stuff” & for “older” folks, & having to ride to the pools, this is BY FAR one of the most fun , nicely decorated, comfortable, amazingly appropriated w all the kitchen utensils, dishes, spices, beach toys, beach wagon, chairs, floats, etc!!! BUT the most wonderful thing was the owner, COURTNEY!! She was terrific, EASY to communicate with, very informative, responded within seconds, and just a polite & enjoyable person to chat with! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Hope to get to go back soon!!! ❤️

The property was gorgeous and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a girls trip for a big birthday. J.C and Courtney even left a bottle of Prosecco and waters. We had use of several streaming channels. The decks were especially nice.

Wonderful and roomy house! Had everything you needed for the beach. Renting the golf cart is definitely a must and a lot of fun! Pools were lovely, just a heads up there is a fee for a wristband to use the beach club. Worth the money! Overall a great experience!

We had a great stay last week at this property. The house is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and appointed. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly. My girlfriend and I took our 3 teens and everyone had a great time. The beach clubs are very nice as well and we used them several times.

This property was great! The house suited our group well and was very nicely kept. The beach was a short walk away. The kids enjoyed the hot tub at the lazy river pool, which was just a short drive down the road. Very thankful for the heated pools and hot tub, because the weather did not cooperate the best for our stay!

Great beach rental! Walking distance to beach even with kids. The rental exceeded my expectations. This was the most well stocked rental I have experienced. Spices and baggies in the kitchen and superb beach closet! No need to bring beach toys, chairs or umbrella!! The owner was very easy to communicate with and flexible with check in and out times as they were able. Would love to make it an annual destination!

The Rosy Spoonbill was beautiful and had everything we needed! It’s great location allowed our party of 10 to comfortably spend as much quality time together as we wanted and relax separately on the beach or in the pools at the clubhouse. Courtney and JC are amazing hosts and we’ll definitely be back as soon as possible!!

This is a great rental. Close to the beach, great for the kids, they had their own golf carts. The owners did a great job of communicating and were quick to respond to any questions or comments thrown their way. This house was also probably the best stocked rental I’ve been in in a long time

This beach house was a very nice house and decorated so cute. The host, Courtney, had a well stocked pantry and kitchen and a great outside beach closet. It was convenient to have the propane grill on the balcony. We were also furnished beach towels. The communication with the host was beyond expectations. If you want a house that has it all, this is the one. The owners were beyond nice. Their goal was for us to enjoy our vacation which we did. The beach is very close. We rented their golf cart which was convenient since it belong to them. The owner checked with us several times to make sure everything was good for us. We have rented houses in Galveston many summers but never had an owner that communicated as well as Courtney and her husband. Thank you Courtney and J.C. for a great beach trip!

The owner is amazing. She stayed in contact with us numerous times between when we booked it and when we got to the house. The house was beautiful and so functional. The kitchen is on the upper floor which was different but everyone got use to it and it was fine. Our group of 30 were split in three houses around this pond and it worked out so well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This beach house and it's location is top notch! Fully updated inside with 4 bedrooms that all had TV's with streaming service. Beds were comfortable to boot. Optional 4 person golf cart was cool. Less than a 10 minute walk to what seemed like our own private beach. The pool club only costs $15 for the week and it had 2 pools to go to. The food at the main club was so good, we had several meals there. We got our groceries from Walmart but a fully stocked grocery store was only 10 minutes away. Balconies were relaxing to hang out on and the grills were top of the line. Even though we have been going to the beach for many years, this was the best beach house we have ever stayed at!

Great trip to Pointe West with family and friends. No other way to do Galveston! Property was excellent, perfect location, well stocked kitchen and beach supplies, super convenient in every way. Courtney was Ann exceptional hostess and communicated very well with us. Definitely will be booking again!

Our extended family (three families of four) stayed here the first week of April and it was lovely! The house was clean, kitchen well stocked, even a few pantry staples were helpful! Each bedroom had a bathroom attached except for the kids bunk room upstairs but that bathroom was just next to it. Multiple decks with comfy seating to relax outside. It was a bonus to have beach toys, a wagon, fishing poles, and even a few bikes and scooters to ride around the safe neighborhood. An easy two minute walk to the sandy beach was a favorite. The pool areas were fun, especially the club with the restaurant, poolside service and game room. The only drawback (although thoroughly described) is that it was a 25 minute each way run for groceries. Just play ahead and the beautiful area and quiet end of town is worth it. The owners were very helpful and very responsive. No issues while we were there but when I asked a question, they were responsive and kind. As long as you can handle stairs...this is an excellent choice for your vacation!!

A group of 8 of us just got back from the Spoonbill. I first have to say the owners were great to work with. They were accommodating and very responsive to any of our questions. Courtney was willing to give us ideas on places to visit or eat at during our time. As for the house it was great. The kids had their own room with a tv and Xbox to keep them busy, and when they weren’t there they had plenty to do outside. The beach is close and an easy walk, while the pools were an excellent get away for the day. Kids loved the lazy river pool as it was heated. The house had all the essentials and more. If you couldn’t find it you likely didn’t need it. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.

House was amazing! Very cute, close to the ocean, great neighborhood and was perfect for a mixed group of family with kids of all ages 2-10. Loved the closet with all the beach gear. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with any pots/pans, plates, cups etc you might need. Beach towels and pack n plays were an added bonus. Host was in constant communication to ensure all was well - we had a great time.

We had a great time spending Christmas at the Rosy Spoonbill. The house was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The house was stocked with everything that we would need to make a large meal. Easy walk to a clean beach. Supply closet full of toys. The kids especially loved the heated pool and lazy river. The video games in the bunk room were a nice surprise. Would love to stay here again when we’re back in Galveston!
