The house and amenities exceeded our expectations at every turn. This beautiful house is in a secluded neighborhood, but close to it all. We have two teenagers who absolutely loved the pool, pool table and dock for fishing. The house had everything we needed and more. Brian was so helpful and super responsive. Would love to visit again!

Property is nothing short of spectacular, enough said. Communication from property manager/owner set the tone from the beginning, I knew Brian was genuinely interested in making sure that our stay was as good as it could possibly be. Every recommendation he made was spot on, even the fish charter. Highly recommend and definitely will be back again.

Great stay. Beautiful property. Only concern was water depth at low tide at the dock. We have a 26ft contender that we could not dock at low tide due to water depth. We had to end up docking at local marina

It's a beautiful house. It's well appointed and beautifully situated. We didn't make use of the golf cart or kayaks but they were available as an option. We brought our boat up and kept it at the dock behind the house. One thing to consider if you plan to bring a boat... The tides were extreme because of the super moon so I don't know if it always gets as low as it was when we were there but at low tide our boat literally sat on the ground. The boat lift which can't be utilized blocks the access to the deeper water. Everything else about the house was excellent.

The house and property were even better than the pictures! We brought our boat and it was great to just hop in from the dock each day. The peacefulness from the back porches watching the birds was amazing. We cooked most breakfasts and dinners in the house. Everyone in the family enjoyed their vacation!

The home was even prettier in person. We loved the private dock and enjoyed fishing off the pier. All of the beds were very comfortable and well appointed. So many places to sit and relax. The location was perfect, it was a little slice of heaven. Brian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Many great memories were made.

Had a wonderful week at 517 Blue Heron Dr, lovely house, containing everything you could need …only negative point was it could do with some more sun loungers rather than the Adirondack chairs

Anna Maria vacation
We loved our stay at this property! The house is spacious with lots of room for everyone and the amenities are fabulous! We enjoyed many games of pool while watching TV at night. Having the dock is perfect for paddleboarding and when we went on a fishing charter they picked us up right from the house. Brian is a fantastic host and we can’t wait to come back!

The living area has a gracious amount of space, comfy couches and a great kitchen. The house has beautiful views on all floors. The house is well appointed and even has an ice machine! Very convenient to hop on golf cart to Bean Point or the local restaurants and shops. I would definitely put this home on my list to stay again.

Wonderful trip to Anna Maria Island
We had an absolutely wonderful time on Anna Maria Island. The house was beautiful and spacious. The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips and information on things to do and places to see around the area. The pool and outside area was also beautiful and it also has a pool fence which was nice that I didn't have to worry about my toddler falling in. We did have one small issue and the owner came out right away and took care of it. He was great, very attentive and accommodating. All in all, great vacation. Highly recommended!!!

Our family spent several weeks at the Blue Heron during the winter of 2021, as we worked from home during the pandemic. We were so lucky to have found Blue Heron! The house is very large and beautifully appointed. The setting is magical — with beautiful views over Bimini Bay in a peaceful, private setting. Brian, the owner, is extremely responsive and flexible. We love it so much that we’re coming back!

Absolutely Amazing
My family and I truly enjoyed everything this property had to offer. The location was perfect. It was close to everything but still seemed very private. The views of the bay were wonderful to watch the sunrise. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and pool table. Brian was amazing and always quick to respond to any questions or issues. We will definitely be returning.

The perfect beach vacation!
This house is beautiful, the location is great, just a short bike ride to the beach. It connects to the bay, which is very calm. We spent a lot of time at the pool. It has all of the accommodations and more. First time at Anna Maria Island and we would love to return to this house.

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Heron!
LOCATION:. On the quiet side of the island. Easy walk or bike ride to the city pier, Bayfront Park, ice cream and shops. We loved having the bay right at the end of the dock to paddle board, kayak and fish. Private backyard for sure. Such a great amenity. The quiet cul-de-sac was nice for the little one to get his bike legs going before heading out onto the street. Short drive to the beach, we chose to park near and enter the beach on Sycamore Ave. No problem finding parking.
INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE: So roomy. We loved the open floor plan. Lots of room for the littles to play and spread out without feeling like they were on top of us all the time. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked a lot and never felt that anything was missing. The house was very clean and tidy. There was no unnecessary clutter around. The screen porches were a delight, lots of time spent relaxing out there.
STANDOUT BONUSES: The pool was delightful, just enough new toys and floats to keep everyone entertained. The best beach house collection of books I've ever seen! Fun family games for all ages, and a sprinkling of toys for the kids that kept them entertained. The pool table was a great source of competitive fun! Second floor den TV for a quiet place to watch something no one else was interested in. Second floor deck to watch the water views. Beach chairs!!!
OWNER REVIEW: Super helpful with island tips, house accommodations and response to questions and concerns. Obviously wanted to see that we had a pleasant experience!
We will be back to the Blue Heron for certain. My only hesitation of giving this property such high marks is my fear that it will become such a popular rental that it won't be available when I want to book a stay! I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you book this property!

Beautiful home
Our two families travel together often to AMI and this was by far one of our favorite stays. The house felt like home and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the pool and the dock where the kids could enjoy crabbing, fishing and paddle boarding. Brian was always available to answer any questions. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house
This is a beautiful house with lots of privacy. The location is quite and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The design of the house is perfect for families. The owner’s detail to labeling all the switches, providing instructions on appliances and being responsive made the stay that more enjoyable. The pool and spa were great and the location provided for daily kayak and paddle boarding. We have rented houses on Anna Maria for 12 years and have never rented on the north end of the island on the bay. While not on the beach, this is a great location to take your family and enjoy the whole island in that it is close to everything. If you are looking for some family privacy along with island fun in a beautiful house this rental has it all.

Perfect 2 Week Stay
Our family stayed at Blue Heron for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute! The home is spacious, well appointed, and has spectacular views. The kids enjoyed the awesome pool and fishing off the dock. We even found a star fish! I highly recommend this home and will hopefully visit again soon!
