I stayed at Marika's from 2003-2006 so was returning on my own for the first time in 17 years. Now run by Michael, the rooms have been updated and everything was perfect. Although I didn't cook there are the essentials available to do so. The location is perfect. 2 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to everything else and the supermarket is across the road. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, very clean and space on the balcony to enjoy the morning coffee. Michael collected me from the airport and dropped me back there. I knew on the first day I arrived that I would want to extend my stay. Michael sorted this with no problems, I stayed another night at Marika's and for the last night moved to Yiannis which was about 30 seconds walk to the left! Despite it being so close Michael still sent someone to make sure I moved okay. Can't thank Michael enough for ensuring I had the best stay. Marika also came to visit me! If you want a homely, welcoming and comfortable stay I'd highly recommend Marika's.

1. getting a key from a box. 2. no personal contact with any staff. 3. not able to pay anyone for the room, ended up getting an invoice. 4. very poor standard of furniture and electrical equipment 5. location from port 6. very hard to find. 7. shower curtain was like an old piece of plastic torn from a pallet. 8. not good value for money.

Good air conditioning

Very difficult to find. Long walk from the port with cases. The only sign for the property is by the steps up and can’t be seen from the road. You need to look out for the blue awnings on the building. It is located in the block immediately after the Luis Pool Hotel. My bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable although the friends we traveled with said their beds were very comfortable so seems pot luck.

No double bed but two singles pressed together, which is why this apartment is better for a small group of friends than a couple, for one night, however, it was fine and the beds were very comfortable

Nothing all perfect

Located 10 min walk to the center. However there was not so much in the area. It had fresh water in the room. The staff was kind.

The furniture is quite old and destroyed. The bed was very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs on your back. Some of the sheets were dirty, the TV didn't work because it had no cables at all. Too expensive for what it is.

The apartments have no swimming pool. It is wrongly mentioned in the site. Very basic amenities.

Very clean 1 bed apartment. We had room no 1 on the ground floor. Good aircon. Easy check-in as we arrived late. Quiet location. Close to supermarket. 5 to 10 minute walk to restaurants, beach and harbour. Kitchen had some little extras such as washing up sponge, liquid and teatowel. We only stayed one night to catch a ferry the next day but would have been happy staying longer. Parking nearby if you have a car. There is a pool bar nearby if you like a pool but we didn't have time to try it. Met our host in the morning for check-out, very friendly and helpful. We would use these apartments again.

Taxi driver had problems finding it! We actually drove past it but couldn't see the name of the apartments on the building.

Location too far from the centre of the village. No promised sea view. Room was "no smoking" but smelt of smoke and had an ashtray.

Lovely people, all we needed for a one night stop over. Very close to town centre. The manager even took us to the port the following morning to catch ferry for onwards journey

Good places for a short trip to the seaside. Close to a beautiful beach, near a supermarket, a few hundred meters from the most considerable bustle. Great contact with a very kind owner

The only drawback is the lack of an electric socket in the small room: either the kettle is on, or the phone charger.

Micheal is a very good host, he helps a lot if you have any question about almost everything (car rental, ferry, trips etc.), our room was also clean and had all essential equipment.

Michael is an exceptional host. The apartment was clean on arrival and cleaned regularly to a high standard.

Some Wi-fi problems during the early part of our stay, however this was fixed after a couple of days. Michael kept us informed of what was happening and checked with us to be sure everything was working properly.

Michale takes care of his guests very well. We steed there for 2 days, and all went better than we expected.

Clean, and centrally located. Supermarket and restaurants are close by.
