Beautiful room with a spacious hot tub - the room was great with 2 sinks and mirrors making it easy to get ready at the same time and beds were quite comfortable. Only issue : the hotel surrounding is still being built up so our room was a "sea view" however, outside our balcony the grounds were just dust and sand. Nothing appears to have been built there yet. The sea view was a good distance away.

New hotel, so still some growing pains to reach 5 star status. Service/admin upon arrival: E.g. When we arrived, we were told to fill out paperwork with our passport numbers, email addresses etc. I've never been told to do this admin work when arriving at a hotel, especially a 5 star hotel. Usually, the reception staff would do this for you. We stayed at 4 hotels during our stay in and around Greece and this was the only hotel that made us do this. We had quite a long journey to get there and I'll be honest, we didn't appreciate this much. We did it - however, when providing feedback to who seemed like a manager of some sort, we were met with the most awkward attitude, as if we were trying to offend them. I tried to reassure her that this was all to help, not complain. Still awkward and made us feel unwelcome (not 5 star service at all). Room facilities: We were provided with some coffee in the room, but no tea. When asking reception for tea, we were told we had to pay just under €10 for the tea and tray charge to bring it upstairs to our room. Very odd. When I told reception that I'd never heard of this before (this is the first hotel, never mind 5 star, that this has ever even been an issue), staff reluctantly agreed to allow us some tea bags free of charge but said we would still need to pay €4 for tray charge to bring it (as if it was actual room service! They should have had the teabags in their in the first place!). I declined and said I would come down to get them myself. When we went down one floor to get this ourselves, we were told tea isn't a usual request for the type of guests they get for this time of year as they're mostly German and don't drink tea (the hotel had only been open 15 days, as they had previously told us so wasn't sure where this came from - also an awkward encounter). Breakfast: Average.

My stay at Kyma Mare Dunes Resort was truly unforgettable. Even though it’s a brand new hotel, everything is taken care of to the smallest detail. The sunset views from the hotel, with the red sun diving into the sea, is something I will never forget. The food, the staff, the location, in one word, everything was simply PERFECT. I will definitely come back as soon as I can!

The Resort is absolutely amazing! It’s really 30 meters from the Dunes of Mastichari, a beautiful beach with white sand. The staff is friendly and professional. My room had a private shared pool and frontal sea view.
