House bit old but clean. Staff friendly as well. Location is awesome; safe, near to town and close by to historic sites in Kerry.

close to Killarney
the hand wash was not new but what half full from the last people. also the tv channel was hopeless. and there was no literature for how to use anything or for anything that was going on around Killarney.

Lovely spacious cottage with good sized living room and great kitchen/dining area with dishwasher.
Also, utility room.
Fabulous views nearby at Aghadoe Heights Hotel.
Handy to centre of Killarney by foot and accessible by car to numerous other attractions.
Very pleasant and helpful host.
Mattress in double bed was fine but kids complained about mattresses in single beds.
No locks on either bathroom door.
TV very poor selection of channels. No DVD player.
Presentation could have been even better if grass had been cut.

Location was 5 mins from Killarney Town, Quiet neighbourhood, Pub 30 meteres away, supermarket 5 mins away.
Mattresses in all beds could do with upgrading, not a great nights sleep, very little support.

We found Amber Cottage as a family a great place to stay, very comfortable inside, a real home from home with all the facilities you would need very well equipped, plenty of space outside for children to run about an have fun safely and the added bonus was that we were able to bring our family pet with us.
Children didn't like the lack of internet
