The apartment and the location are perfect for a family, in particular with children. The apartment has everything one might need, even some toys and a very complete kitchen. A car would be useful, but walking a couple of minutes you can find some smaller supermarkets and many restaurants. Everything was spotless and the hosts are very kind and helpful! Thanks again!

Lucky i Chose this apartment to stay as i had the home feeling I needed in this biz trip. The house has all the amenities one could ask. Fast internet and the terrace access(laundry included )are superplus for this gorgeous apt. Lorraine was super kind and her cafeteria on the building corner served beautiful strong coffee.

The apartment was very clean, well kept and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the owner Lorraine and her husband Alan were just a message away if you needed anything. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was great and very much needed. There is a balcony upstairs which you can chill out on with table and chairs. Added bonus of a washing machine also and a clothes line on the balcony to dry your clothes or there is an airer indoors to dry them. All cooking utensils and a great cooker to cook with. I am very familiar with Malta and have been lots of times and chose Mgarr as its a lovely village with some nice restaurants and right next to my favourite beaches and for me the best beaches in Malta. You have Gnejna beach, Ghajn Tuffieha beach and Golden bay beach. All can be reached by foot if you are feeling adventurous and from experience its one of the nicest walks along the coast i have had the pleasure of experiencing and the sunsets are beautiful. But there is always the bus. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the apartment, the bus will take you to every beach and takes no longer than 10 mins. Going in the opposite direction the buses will take you to Valetta and Crikewwa if you fancy a trip to Gozo on the ferry, which i would highly recommend. I really enjoyed my stay here and i would definitely stay here again.

Owner was welcoming and helpful. Place was clean and well equipped - comfortable desk and flawless WiFi for working, fully stocked kitchen making it possible to cook anything, everything you need for laundry & ironing, TV etc. Location is relatively out of the way and quiet, yet close enough to restaurants and amenities.

Road works leading to Mgarr, some noisy/rude neighbours, ungodly waste collection hours in the area (owner did offer help though, to be fair), roosters crowing early in the morning, no lift. To be honest these aren't really a big deal, considering how good things are inside the apartment.

The flat was immaculate, it had everything you need, and also an amazing private roof terrace - perfect for a nice evening. Lorraine, the owner, is fantastic. She is very friendly and helpful, kept in touch to ensure everything is ok.

As per other reviews, this apartment was a great find and I was really happy with my stay. Lorraine has thought through every single detail and I truly felt like home. The flat is in an excellent location in the centre of Mgarr, yet it was quiet at night. Every room has aircon and the cost (it’s operated with coins) was very economical. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent wifi, washing machine, beach towels and a beach umbrella, toiletries… nothing was missing. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness Lorraine!

This is one of the best holiday places I've been to. Host is very friendly and the flat comes with everything you need! There is ample parking available and the host was ready to assist with anything I needed and is always a phone call away. 2 balconies and a roof terrace with wonderful views just makes it even better and the beds are very comfortable. The flat is very clean and newly refurbished - you will not regret staying here, you will be very grateful that you chose this wonderful place!
