La décoration était géniale et originale. Les propriétaires ont vraiment bcp de goût et on ne perds pas le charme de l’ancien. La literie est très bien et la cuisine commune est vraiment pratique et dispose de tout ! Nous ne sommes reste qu’une nuit en étape mais cela aurait vraiment mérité plus de temps.

Alles was piekfijn in orde en Mayke was een super attente, vriendelijke en goed bereikbare gastvrouw. De keuken was uitgerust met alle essentials en op 5 minuten lopen was een kleine bakker/supermarkt te vinden voor ontbijt en kleinere boodschappen. Het chateau was prachtig ingericht en de kamer van alle gemakken voorzien.

I loved the decor and the vibe of the place. Each room is different and with its own personality, all are arranged in very good taste. I particularly loved my room called roaring 20's; it felt cosy and had an "at home" feel. The staff was helpful and friendly, provided lots of useful information and tips. would love to go back for a longer stay

Le manque de respect d’autres clients le premier soir qui criait et parlait très très fort alors que le respect des autres est une chose primordiale pour Mayke et Pascal les patrons 🙏 Mais ça ce n’est pas de leur faute 😉 Juste un manque d’éducation de nos jours 🤨👹

It was really quirky, the owner was so friendly and the information provided was excellent. It was an excellent place to explore Luxembourg from and was good value compared to staying closer to the city. The bakery opposite made for an excellent breakfast. Parking facilities were good too. We absolutely adored Luxembourg so will definately be back to explore some more

A beautifully presented castle full of character and charm. Self catering with use of kitchen for breakfast. Our host was very helpful during check-in and with finding a restaurant for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay in the Tribute room. I don't think I ever took so many pictures of the interiour as I did at Château de Clemency. Friendly and helpful owners, nice hidden quiet places to have a rest (indoors and outdoors), a very clean and very bright room. When we arrived after a full day on our motorcycle we had a rest in the garden and in the morning we had breakfast on the terrace in the sun. Just perfect to charge up our battery again for another day on the road.

What a fantastic place! We really enjoyed the love and creativity that went into the concept of the different rooms, as we did the welcoming hospitality of our host Mayke. Overall the hotel features a very unusual concept which resembles more a personal visit to a private house as opposed to a classic hotel concept. So not much of traditional services expected from a hotel. But more than compensated by a sense of traditional warm hospitality and options to cater for yourself, if wanted.

Nothing really to complain. As sometimes with fancy interior decoration concepts, its not utmost practicality what was looked at. But well, trading between standard functionality of an ordinary bathroom vs. the inspiring concepts found here, it was no tough choice for us to make!

Weird smell in the bathroom. Told to buy my own milk when they ran out. For the price I paid, I'd expect milk to be included. And told to use soap for my hair when there was no shampoo. I think there was a lack of attention to the little things - and that bathroom really smelled bad. It's on a busy road and it's really really small.

Everything! the communal kitchen, the location, the host, the greeting upon arrival. We were very happy to have selected this place.

Shampoo, or lack there off, we washed with the soap available and that did not agree with our hair at all. Its a minor complaint and not a showstopper at all.

Wow what a place and what a pair of hosts! From the moment we pulled up Maykes smiley welcoming, we knew we had found a gem of a place. The rooms are all fantastically decorated and complete homage to Pascals unique eye for making a space look special and his pure passion for the Chateau and his vision. We loved the Chateau and the it’s hosts so much we stayed an extra night (and could have quite happily stayed for much longer). We will certainly be back and are already planing our return trip!

Incredibly characterful accommodation - a stylish and evocative mixture of the ancient and the modern. Lots of wonderful details and unusual features. Great.variety to the rooms. We stayed in the Tribute room on the way down and in the Sherlock room on the way back, having enjoyed our stay so much the first time. Both were great. All in all a comfortable and exciting place to stay. Communication from the host (Mayke) was excellent and the warmth of her welcome was also exceptional.

WiFi was occasionally a bit hit and miss but not a big problem.

Hospitality of hostess Mayke amazing! Really cool venue, each room is totally unique. Greeted with Glühwein and coffee which made us feel very welcome and settled.

A little bit cold as it's a castle and isn't totally heated everywhere. Applies to the shower which can take a bit of time to warm up.
