The Sextant was a great place to stay for a work trip that turned into a mini vacation. The unit I stayed in was well appointed and furnished. The building was quiet and well laid out. It was easy entering the building and the condo. I would recommend staying here for anyone who needs a base camp while exploring New Orleans. The location, in the central business district, is between many of the cities tourist attractions. Just a short stroll to the French quarter, an easy jumping off point to the Garden District, and the World War II museum. I would absolutely stay here again.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights in New Orleans for my friend's birthday. There were 3 of us staying in this space and we were visiting from Michigan.
There was 1 king sized bed and 2 queen sized beds (1 queen was a comfy pull out couch). Our favorite part was that the rooms had no windows: it made it easy to sleep in after nights of staying out late.
We also loved the modern furniture and features (for example, a touch screen device with information in the room).
There was also a porch that overlooked the outdoor communal space. Some people may want to overlook a street, but this gave us privacy and probably helped with keeping the noise pollution out.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

We traveled to New Orleans for a family wedding with our kids and the Sextant was a wonderful choice. The space was huge on a quiet block but easily accessible to everywhere you'd want to go. We'll definitely be back.

The property and location were very nice. Checking process was not good. Booked through VRBO and have done so for many years. Then property manager stared requesting ID photos and credit card photos, etc. We forwarded to VRBO. They stated it would be investigate and we never heard back. Very disappointing.
