We returned to Iowa to visit family, friends, and our old stomping grounds - as advertised, this ranch was very convenient in location and layout. We had a wonderful stay, might even bring more of the family next time because there is plenty of room.

Great peaceful neighborhood. Lots of people/families walking. My kids left the door of our vehicle open all night without us noticing and nothing was disturbed. Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and kitchen was decently stocked for us to make all our meals. Had zero issues during our 5 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and communication with owner. We have 2 small dogs that travelled with us, so the "pet friendly" listing and fenced-in back yard very necessary. Not quite sure microfiber sofa is pet-friendly, but backyard access was great. There's a park a couple of blocks away that we used for early morning walks...super nice! Quiet neighborhood deeply appreciated. Gas, coffee, groceries, etc., all close by. Interior ould use some updating, but kitchen well stocked and necessary paper goods all well at hand as well. We had to take our trash to the container in the park as the two dumpsters supplied were full when we arrived on Thursday, and Wednesday was the pick-up day...not sure what happened there. All in all, this house worked out well for our family reunion and we had a great time! Thank you!

This property was perfect for 3 couples, one with 2 small children. The fenced yard was helpful, and the 3 year old had a blast with the stomp rockets in the finished basement. We did bring a baby gate which helped with the 1 year old as there is no door to the basement. It was a perfect space for visiting. There is a small neighborhood park within a short walking distance. Overall we were very pleased as it is not far from family in Urbandale. Communication with the owners was very fast and appreciated.

This property was clean and had enough room for 7 adults. The furniture in the bedrooms was a bit dated but adequate except that there was only a dresser in one bedroom. It would be helpful if there were at least a suitcase stand in the smaller bedrooms. and some clothes hangers for all the closets.
Otherwise, it was a great place in a quiet neighborhood.

This home was wonderful for a family of six! Bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen were all well maintained, clean, and spacious for people to sleep, eat, and play! Very easy to communicate and gain access from the host. Overall an amazing home that I will rent again the next time I’m in Des Moines!

This was a great place to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with our family. Great neighborhood. Lots of space for our big family. The arrival of snow last night added to the feel of the holidays. We will put it on our list of favorites.

Nice cute clean house in good neighborhood with driveway parking. Close to lots of things. House well equipped with everything we needed—extra towels, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, coffee, laundry detergent, spices, etc. Responsive owner when I emailed her with questions prior to arrival. Only negative was small barky dog next door & mowed thistles in yard which hurt our dog’s feet. Overall nice & would stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for my four friends and me. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and the house was clean and comfortable.
We did have a little trouble with getting Netflix to work but the owner was very helpful and offered to come and get it working for us. It was late so we decided that we don’t need to watch tv anyway.
The owner, Joy, was very easy to work with.

We only stayed one night and the house was ok for a stop over on our road trip but I would not stay again as it just doesn’t get the attention to detail we are looking for. Lots of broken things, outdated and not very clean. Subdivision was nice just the property itself I don’t think gets much attention or effort.

Place was exactly as listed and in a neighborhood straight out of Pleasantville. Loved the fenced in backyard and patio that overlooks it. Nice large finished basement we didn't end up using. WiFi was a bit spotty and we couldn't watch TV the last night, but that's forgivable. 😀

The house was very nice and clean. It would have been perfect if the thermostat could have stayed cooler at night. We were not home most of the day but needed a good night's rest. Cooler temperature (<76) would have helped.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is big and could fit 6 females for a girls weekend. Only thing is that we could not find extra blankets for the pullout couch. So might want to bring a blanket with you if you will be using that.

We travelled to the area for our son/daughter-in-law’s wedding. The house was a cool, peaceful oasis for us as we ran a thousand errands before the events and then finally relaxed for a quiet evening alone after celebrating events with family and friends.
It is convenient to many parks and stores, and the house is in a safe, friendly neighborhood that is nice to walk around in.
