We had a great time in Utah. The house was perfect for us. Had everything we needed plus more. Never stayed anywhere before that had all the extra things that this place provided. It was nice. We left a couple things also for the next people. Kids loved the pool. Loved the local grocery store. We woyld stay again.

I can't say enough about our stay. The place was very clean. There were plenty of amenities that made a very comfortable place to stay. The location was great for visiting the National Parks. As well as the quick response in communicating with the property manager.

Great base for Zion and all the great finds around Kanab. Nice hot tub to chill in afterwards. Completely stocked kitchen

Kanab is a perfect spot from which to branch out and access the national parks and monuments. We saw parts of Zion, Bryce, Escalante/Grand Staircase as well as others. The slot canyons were stupendous. There were quite a few areas that we were not aware of that I was delighted with: Lick Wash, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Buckskin Gulch, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Utah, White Pocket also in Vermilion Cliffs (accessible with 4 wheel drive vehicles), Arizona among others. The house was well stocked and tastefully decorated. It was perfect for our family members aged 10-75 years old.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Kanab. It was beautiful, clean, quiet and cool-all of my criteria for a place to rent. The house is beautifully decorated and had every amenity and all the supplies that you might need. Highly recommend it and hope to stay again. The only caution I would pass along is that I had an accident and unfortunately was in a wheel chair for much of my stay so my daughter looked all around but could find no wheelchair ramp anywhere. Made it a little challenging getting up the curb😂

We really enjoyed our time here! The townhouse was perfect for our family of 5. We wanted somewhere centrally located to the surrounding parks and sites and this was perfect. The townhouse was very nice, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Happy Cactus! It was comfortable, extremely well-equipped, and (most importantly to me) incredibly clean. The family room was awesome for all 5 of us to watch tv together on the huge tv at night. We loved that everyone had a comfortable bed, and the laundry room was great for our National Park laundry :)
I appreciated that the house was so well-stocked with shampoo/conditioner, soaps, paper products, detergent, spices, and lots of towels for home and pool.
We loved the pool and hot tub, too -- just a 1 minute walk from the front door! We will definitely recommend this home to friends!

Fantastic stay for our family. Condo was spacious. Hosts were wonderful. Location perfect for our hike to the Wave and other beautiful parks.

We loved our stay! The unit was spotless, pool was great. We also loved the central location for easy access to all the beautiful parks. Easy communication with the property owner. Would definitely return!

Cacti Cool
It was just starting to get warm when we stayed. It took a bit to locate the AC control upstairs but other than that kids LOVED pool time & toys stored under the stairs. Excellent for our basecamp to the area National Parks.

Warm, inviting stay
We stayed at another VRBO in this same community a year ago so when we walked in here and found it to be twice as good, we were delighted! Super clean, and the communication from the host was flawless. They thought of everything so I had no need to reach out to them during our stay. The only thing I could think of that I wish was better is the beds. I found the king-size bed to be very firm and uncomfortable. Other than that, though, everything was flawless!

Great stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Cactus! It was a great base camp for visiting Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon! The townhouse was well stocked, comfy king bed, with a great hot tub! There are also some great hiking trails in the immediate area! We would definitely stay here again!

The Happy Cactus Home was a well kept, clean home that we happily enjoyed for 2 nights. It was a great location to explore Zion and Buckskin Gulch. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Shields Spring Break 2021
We had the best time in Kanab!! The happy cactus house was amazing and perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a couple evenings to relax and watch tv in the living room, and our kids loved their rooms. It was great to get some groceries at Honeys and have breakfast each morning before hitting the parks. Utah is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the trip! Thank you so much!

Great long term base in Southern Utah
My group spent over 2 weeks at Whitney's place in Kanab and we had a great stay! Between working from home, cooking meals in the kitchen, watching movies in the living room, and using the house as a base for a number of hikes and adventures, the house delivered for us. Whitney was very easy to communicate with and we found the community gym, fast internet, many smart TVs, and accessible parking to be bonuses for our long stay.
