This Was My Very First Time Visiting The DR in Puerto Plata and I Must Say, The Best Experience So Far!! The Staff Is The Best. The Owner Ralph and Ralph’s Wife Are Very Very Very Nice and Good-Spirited People that will make your stay a Wonderful Welcoming Atmosphere. Every time I come to visit here, I will always only book there apartment. Great Hospitality and I Love It Here. The private pool and amenities is a plus, especially for the price to be in Puerto Plata. Also, the neighborhood is gated and secured and in a very quiet area, that will make you feel very safe as well. Playa Dorado Ocean Beach is only a 4 minute drive from the driveway of this property, and i loved it there as well. the ocean and atmosphere there, was very nice as well! Thanks Ralph and Family, you two are the best!

The hot water was good. The host Rafael was there so he accommodated us promply. The response for more towels and we needed lights in the pool was very fast.

I would have liked for the place to have 2 bathrooms and a tv in each room

The place was clean for the most part. It's not America clean but it wasnt dirty either. The permanent neighbors were very friendly. It really helped the woman spoke perfect English and had a awesome attitude(total hottie) she's married fellas. There are two small dogs on the property that are adorable. The pool area is very nice and the yard is very well kept. The inside is comfortable with glasses plates pots and a pan. One dull knife fridge freezer microwave so that was good

The hosts were not very good. They did not offer a change of towels or bedding. It felt like a burden to ask. Three towels no wash clothes no soap or toiletries. Very small rolls of toilet paper maybe two or three uses. You have to purchase drinking water. The air conditioning was very hard to use. They watch you like a hawk it is very uncomfortable. There is very little privacy. The location was horrible it took a hour to find in a small gated community. They are all about getting the dollar so dont expect a lot. The lady of the property would say one thing and the husband another. They tried to give me a smaller unit after I already paid because he got another booking. I had my girlfriends kids over 1 night because curfew was upon us. And owner was upset and raised his voice at me about paying more money and I'm a American so I know how it goes. The truth is in America you can have visitors in your room no problem. If I was in America he would be in for a surprise. The parking is a joke you have to park in a rubble road. The vibe was off and not up to par.
