Place was all one could want, spacious comfortable and well equipped for my family of five. Location is convenient short walk to the beach. A wagon was available for chairs umbrellas and stuff, as well there is convenience stores and restaurant within a short walking distance. The kitchen is nicely appointed and well equipped. Absolutely loved the Master suite, with private deck. The bathroom was large, and the jetted tub was nice for after beach time to relax in. The view from the widows walk offered tremendous views of the Gulf as well as the lagoon. Everett the property manager greeted us shortly after our arrival and made himself available should we require anything we didn’t. This trip we did not bring our pets but fenced in yard feel we will do so next visit. Plan to be back to the Eagles Nest again! My family had a great trip.

Should've paid attention to other reviews. Location is great, but the house is run-down. Appliances are old (washer/dryer) or in need of repair (fridge) Floors & carpets needed cleaning. Stuff scattered around the yard & under house. Yard (dog poop) needs cleaned up.

We absolutely love the property. Our Fur babies enjoyed themselves. The house was clean we enjoyed the pool in the evening. Made a lot of memories. Will definitely rent again

We had a great time with family . Pool was a plus . Short walk to beach access . Only dislike was MOLD in living room and master bedroom , pretty bad . Other dislike was , you would expect at $340 a night , better than the cheapest 1ply toilet tissue money can buy , bring your own , that was unbelievable. No handrail at entrance upper doorway for handicapped .

The checkin process was perfect. We have no complaints. Love the location. Home was super clean. Pool was a great bonus. We used it everyday. The beach was clean, short distance from home, and the water was perfect. Definitely would recommend.

The pictures of the house must be extremely dated. When we arrived the carpet, yes carpet at a beach house, was disgusting. It was stained throughout the house. The property manger did not response to concerns about there being two poisonous snakes found alive on the patio and in the outdoor shower area. Luckily we discovered instead of my puppy or child. We also had an ant infestation and frog infestation with the small lap pool having upwards of 20-30 frogs at night which is probably contributing to the snakes. There was significant water damage and need for painting throughout the property. The guest room also only had a full size bed vs queen as described in the booking. I have always been confident in my bookings but this was truly a disappointment.

We loved the location and the layout. The yard had fire ants and made it difficult to utilize the property. The interior of the home could use a coat of paint and flooring updates in the main living areas. We would revisit but probably not for the same amount of money. My daughter left her Nintendo Switch in the dresser drawer of the bunk room. We are hoping to hear from beachball properties soon, that they located it. We will pay for it to be shipped back to us.

This was a beautiful place for my family to gather and visit. We gathered for a Memorial for a loved one. We left with wonderful memories and gratitude. Thank you!

The house had soft spots all through it. The eagles nest was not secure and had soft spots someone is going to get hurt. Pool was dirty doors were messed up would not stay on track they even came off

We truly enjoyed our stay. The pool was great and fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. House could use some work and updating. We will for sure be back to Gulf Shores.

My family had an amazing experience at the Eagle’s Nest. There is a short walk to the beach or you can drive around the corner to park your car. It is so close to everything you need but very quiet at night. The house was spacious enough for 3 generations of the family to have their own space. We loved the open floor plan. Furniture was comfy, great for an afternoon nap as well as the lounge chairs by the pool & on the back deck. (I enjoyed a few naps during my stay). I would nightly recommend this property to friend’s & family. We would definitely stay again.

Housekeeping was good however house needs work paint, carpets need to be replaced had bad stains, kitchen floor was weak in places pillows on king bed needs replaced, grill was unkept a lot of ashes that wasn't dumped after multiple uses, pool loungers need to be replaced. On the good side Pool was clean and maintained . Excellent location and loved the fenced in backyard for dogs. The master bedroom/ bathroom were nice and big. Overall we had a great experience

This property met all of our needs for my husband, two sons and our dog, Piper. The backyard is completely fenced in and we spent lots of time in the private pool, shaded by palm trees. The inside was beautiful, comfortable and we kept saying “we’d love to live here”! Close to the beach and great restaurants. We can’t wait to book again soon!

House was bigger than we expected! Nice area. Close to the beach. About 5-6 minute walk from beach access. Upstairs bed and queen bed very comfortable. The twin & bunk beds were not comfortable but fine for kids. High pitched whistle sound any time the downstairs shower was on. Also the spigot in the downstairs bathtub easily came off while water running and would spray out of tub. Pool was a nice bonus but HIGHLY chlorinated. My 4 year old daughter ended up with a bad, painful rash from the chlorine. 2 of the 5 adults had a chlorine rash as well. We didn’t get in the pool much after Day 1. Kitchen had very minimal storage options for leftover food we cooked. Not a big deal but keep that in mind when visiting. Weak spots in the flooring of kitchen/ main living space. The palm trees in the backyard were pretty but would suggest some grooming. Obstructed views tremendously while sitting on the back porch. Supplied high chair and pack ‘n play was nice! Overall, nice property. Would suggest some minor improvements to downstairs bathroom tub/shower, groom palm trees and possibly adding less chlorine to pool.

The property was nice, clean and great layout of space. We had a couple of issues while there. The first was a severe ant problem on the back deck/stairs. 1- There were THOUSANDS of ants on the stairs and railing leading to the pool. My children both got several bites as well as myself. I called the management company and they were very responsive and sent someone fairly quickly and resolved the issue. 2- There was/still is at least 1 or 2 VENOMOUS snakes living under the deck by the outdoor shower. I took several pictures of the snakes and I called the management company and they sent someone out. The gentleman who came was very nice, however was unable to remove the snake(s). He is not a snake handler and he also stated he wasn’t allowed to move it. He stated he would try and contact a reptile rescue group and return to lift the decking and remove the snakes. They did not return while we were still renting the property, so sadly my children were terrified to go outside and enjoy the pool for the last 3-4 days of our trip. I was also hesitant to let the dog out in the yard unsupervised. It just became difficult to relax knowing the snakes were present. 3-Just some suggestions, not complaints. - The house has MANY light switches throughout. It would be nice if they were labeled. Also, directions for the televisions and multiple associated remote controls. -LOTS of closet space which was great, however no hangers were available. We really enjoyed the property with the exception of the snake issue….that really caused a lot of stress for us.

We stayed here with two little ones. The property had everything we needed. High chair, pack and play, stroller, beach wagon, umbrella and chairs, pool toys. The downfalls were the downstairs queen mattress had a huge sunken area in it and the shower made a high pitched whistling sound when using.

Grass wasn’t cut. Trash wasn’t taken out when we arrived. Dishes were dirty when we arrived.

There were a lot of houses around us with kids partying and a house starting to go up right next door. But great location.

This was a great home with a lot of space close to fantastic restaurants, shops, entertainment and right at a nice quiet beach spot.

Our family rented this home for a week over Christmas break. We enjoyed the brief 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Our fur babies appreciated the fenced in yard. The master bedroom was amazingly comfortable.

This is the 2nd time my family has stayed at this property for vacation. We LOVED the pool that has been added since our last visit. This property is spacious, clean, and has close proximity to restaurants and beach. The fenced in yard was also a very big plus. Plan to stay again next year if availability will allow.

Overall we had a really great experience at the rental property! What was really extraordinary was they were a few things that didn’t work when we showed up the first day. When we called the rental company to come check out the few issues, they had people there the very next day taking care of everything. Great customer support! Great property! Overall great experience!

Location was perfect! Close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. The pool was very nice but on the small side. We Wish the beds were bigger. We couldn’t believe all the caterpillars that were everywhere! We had a roach in the living room and a leach and water moccasin snake in the driveway. Could use an exterminator for sure. Otherwise we had a great stay!

House and location were great. It was just my wife and me for a long weekend. Roomy house, very clean and offered a lot of options. Loved the pool although in April if it were heated it would have added to the stay. We have stayed at multiple VRBOs over the years and would offer just some adds to consider to make it a 10!! Get a new TV in living room; Sansung is losing it's picture. Also suggest upgrading pots and pans with newer and easy clean pans. Also add some more accessories in kitchen like tupperware, and additional cooking ware. Otherwise we loved it!!

Great location Wagon and beach chairs were very nice to have. Curtains on windows to keep sunlight out would be helpful and bigger beds
