The cabin and the view was beautiful. The ladies at the front office were so nice and helpful. The only problem was the beds not comfortable at all.

The property was just right for our large family. There were 20 of us 11 adults and 9 children - We were very comfortable. The only problem was a couple of the rails were loose on the deck - we reported it and they were going to fix it. We would book this property again.

Beautiful cabin! Very comfortable for our large group, lots of room for everyone to spread out. The view from the deck was heavenly!! The roads getting up to the cabin, are quiet scary but definitely worth the it.

Great cabin for family vacations, very spacious and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for. The only thing missing was the snow. However, I'm glad it did not snow as I don't believe we would've been able to make it to the cabin. The road is very steep and has many switch backs. Other than that, perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Arrowhead. It is a spacious cabin with a beautiful view. The cabin still has a cozy feel despite being on the larger side. Beds were very comfy and there are multiple full baths which is great for a larger crew. Kids and adults loved the game area downstairs--pool table, arcade game, and basketball. Kitchen was well stocked, but I would suggest getting sharper knives as we had difficulty cutting/ peeling with the ones provided. Kid friendly silverware would also be a good bonus. As mentioner earlier, the view is gorgeous. The cabin is high on the mountain and the road to the cabin is winding and pretty steep at parts, so be aware particularly in the winter. It did snow while we there which was unusual for December, but keep this mind. Overall it was an enjoyable trip and we would stay here again.

We’ve been going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for around 35 years and this was the first time we’ve stayed in Wears Valley. We LOVED it!! The view was wonderful, and there are a lot of little stores and areas to check out without the big crowds, yet still close to everything. The house has tons of living space and beds. The deck is huge. We wish we had brought our corn hole game to set up on the deck. Everything was clean and smelled good! We had a great time and can’t wait to return!

The house is beautiful and layout worked great for us (extended family stay). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The view from the deck was stunning! The location is very convenient for pigeon forge and smoky mountain park. We did have a few issues. Everyone in our party had minor complaints of the beds being uncomfortable (too firm). It could use a good deep cleaning, there was a layer of dust around the perimeter of the carpet, blinds, and ledges. Not ideal for someone with dust allergies. My biggest issues was the maintenance of the deck. There were several nails working their way up out of the deck just enough to be a problem. Unfortunately one of the teens in our party was walking bare foot to the hot tub and got a pretty decent cut on the bottom of his foot. Thankfully he is up to date on his vaccines since it was quite rusty and we had a medical professional in our party. I never write reviews but as a parent I would like to know what the potential hazards are before visiting.

Beautiful cabin with Mountain View, large bedrooms, double decks in a wonderful area

The cabin was exactly as described and lived up to the reviews we had read. Very clean. Despite 19 & a baby, we had as much hot water as we needed. Plenty of room for everyone to have a bed. Had a couple of requests after first day and the staff addressed them immediately. The views were stunning. We would definitely recommend for any large group looking for a place to stay.

Everything was easy to take care of. The employees at Volunteer Mountain Cabins were extremely nice. They explained everything very thoroughly. Beautiful view from back of cabin, overlooking Wears Valley and Townsend. 4th of July fireworks fun to watch from deck. Roads to property are all paved and marked well but some are quiet steep but no problem for 2 wheel drive. House was nice and large enough for our whole family of 17. Plenty of sleeping areas. House was clean but has some wear and tear that did not interfere with our experience. I would stay here again.

We had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone. The deck views were breath taking!

Extremely easy to rent the property, no hick ups at all.

We stayed at Arrowhead Cabin, a beautiful fully furnished cabin on the side of a mountain overlooking the beautiful Wears Valley. The place easily accommodated our large extended family, and was clean and comfortable, even in the unexpected heat. We hope to visit again soon!

A nice cabin with incredible views. Very secluded and relaxing. Would have been better if we would have had amenities for more than one night since two nights were required.

This property is as described. It was able to accommodate 18 of us very comfortably. Cabin was well kept and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Everything seemed to be in working condition. We did have a major security issue that was resolved quickly and respectfully. Staff members were very friendly.

I would highly recommend this place to stay for a vacation. The office staff was very very friendly.

The cabin is a very nice cabin with lots of room. We had a group of 20 and didn't feel crowded at all. The only hiccup that we ran into was there wasn't enough cookware in the kitchen to cook for 20 people. The staff at the office were great and gave us suggestions on things to do with our group, I would recommend the cabin, but if we stay again, we'll be sure to bring pots and pans with us.

There was 13 of us we plenty of room. It was the first time my kids saw snow. Was a wonderful weekend

We had a great time staying at the cabin! It was decorated beautifully for Christmas! There were 19 of us and we fit comfortably. For future guests: there are no bathrooms that are not connected to a bedroom. If you have guests staying outside of a bedroom they will have to go through a bedroom to use a bathroom. Downstairs the John Deer room does have a bathroom that js jack and Jill style that connects to the John deer room and the main area of thr downstairs. This bathroom also holds the washer and dryer. The downstairs does not cool down well. Most nights those staying downstairs had to sleep with the windows open, luckily it was winter. The decks outside and the hottub were perfect! There was plenty of seating outside too. This house allowed 19 people to stay comfortably and spread out to different areas when needed. There isn't a grassy outdoor area for any outdoor activities, just the gravel parking area. The check-in and out process was seamless and the people were so friendly. Overall would highly recommend!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Arrowhead. We had a couple of small instances where we needed assistance. The staff quickly took care of these small problems. The cabin is nice but because of the location has limited parking. I would certainly recommend Arrowhead for its cleanliness, and great view plus the friendly, helpful staff. Jim J.

We loved everything about the cabin. It was perfect for our family to spread out. The teens are in the basement. They enjoyed playing pool and enjoyed the hot tub. We were able to have my daughters reception for her wedding at the cabin. Everyone felt like they had enough room to dance, sing, socialize, and eat. The house was so beautifully decorated and the big picture window had the best view of the mountain. We could not have been more happy with this choice for our family. The rental agency was so nice and helpful. We pretty much only had to clean up after ourselves and all the towels sheets and bedding were taken care of for us at check out. Great experience. We highly recommend this place. We will most likely want to come back again just for a family reunion.

What a wonderful place! The views were gorgeous from both decks! We had plenty of room for our family to spend time together and to make new memories. We did have to ask to have an outlet checked and the management responded within a few hours. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful property. Enjoyed the view very much, just think the property could have been cleaned a little better.

In a nutshell, the cabin that we chose, the Arrowhead, was just perfect! It was large enough to accommodate our massive party. We had 16 traveling, ranging from ages 3 all the way to 78 years old! Our immediate family included parents, spouses and children. There was so much room and the cabin overlooked the valley below. The clouds seemed to set down on the mountaintop. We were tucked away unless we rode down into town for activities. Each room had a TV and its own bathroom. There were pool table and air hockey to play. The furnishing of the cabin really gave it that modern, rustic feel. If we do this trip again, I'd pick the same cabin. The property management was so kind and courteous. They really made us feel welcome. We truly enjoyed our stay and much needed time together.
