We visited in September, which is "off season" for many mountain resorts. Consequently Hotel Beaulieu was closed and instead we were accommodated in the sister Hotel Carlina immediately next door, frankly this made no difference as both appear very similar. We were travelling with friends, who were staying in another hotel. Hence we didn't spend much time in the rooms. Pretty town, nice for a wander, great scenery. Fair choice of restaurants and bars, although some shut (September) and some quite expensive. Suspect the town would be very lively in the skiing season.

The room was adequate, but not generous in size, there wasn't much navigation space and once you put your suitcase down you were then stepping over it... Indeed the room might have benefitted from having a smaller double bed. As appears common in ski resorts; the room had a link door, to give the option of making a family 4 bed room... In this case the door was not well sealed and there was some coughing and TV noise from the other room.

The hotel seemed a little tired in the corridors and needs a refresh.

No place to park my car near the hotell..

staff were really friendly, helpful with information and communicating in English.. breakfast was good and staff were working hard to serve/refill the food.. the view during breakfast was great, facing the mountain ..

well, it is expected not to have air conditions in all hotels at La Clusaz, but in July it is very hot and and at night you need to keep the window open, but without a window mesh (insects net) it was not possible !! the room was hot and very humid specially after taking a shower .. what made it worse, both exhaust fans in toilet and shower are not working, I requested receipt in to react but nothing changed. Providing a normal fan in the room would help .. Limited parking area was also an issue! I had to park my car down the hill in town.

Hotel itself good, room was at the back but quiet and ok as I was in room alone but it may have been cramped for 2 with lots of kit. Restaurant was good as well so don't overlook it. Ability to use pool in sister hotel was great for our younger trip member (9 yrs old) after a day on the slopes. Only comment would be charging €12 per person per day for access to the "spa" which was 1 hot tub, 1 sauna and 1 steam room plus more beds with some tea, water etc was excessive and not really worth it if you were just looking to use at the end of the day to relax sore muscles. Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and La Clusaz itself

Charges for a minimal spa that should really be included in price.

Staff were brilliant - really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great - all you could eat and lovely food. Free swimming pool in sister hotel was a real plus.

Would have been great if there were some snacks available to buy.

Breakfast was nice but would have like some prepared eggs. Parking was available and free. We got the biggest room that would hold many people would have been great with friends.

The room was a bit warm but nice after a long day of skiing.

Staff was excellent. They helped a lot in everything we asked for. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was nice.
