Brenda is a superb host - friendly and very generous. She does all she can to ensure her guests are comfortable and catered for. She is also very considerate when guests are sharing her kitchen.

Nothing as regards the accommodation. I was just unlucky with the mist which prevented me from enjoying the views!

Met all our expectation

Wow. We had the beat stay. Brenda is a fantastic host. Breakfasts were amazing with homemade preserves. The views are stunning. And Frankie the beautiful black lab made us feel right at home. Brenda we will be back for sure.

This was by far the very best BnB we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Perfectly designed home that captures the stunning views from high up on the hill to the bay and surrounding area. It lights up so beautifully of a night too The home offers every thing you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay, comfy bed & bedding, great bathroom with good towels, excellent home made breakfast By far the best asset of this lovely home is the owner Brenda. She is kind, hospitable, funny, generous & a truly lovely person Not forgetting the extra friendly and adorable Frankie the black lab. You cannot help but fall for Frankie

We loved the whole stay.

Great accommodation with a prime location; the view in sunny weather is perfect! Brenda has a lovely home, nicely decorated and the rooms are very cosy. The breakfast was great! Brenda and Frankie the labrador made us feel very welcome.

Location was awesome, Brenda is amazing and so so friendly, and can’t forget very sweet Frankie! Room and entire house was very clean, very cozy, and decor was modern. Brenda was very accommodating, and gave us suggestions on places to go on our short stay in Christchurch. She also provided all sorts of breakfast for us, and we had a lovely time there!

Ideal home looks like it’s out of a decorator’s mag one of the most amazing places we ever stayed… an ideal place for working and couples (we combined some work with couple stay). Perfect luxurious setting, would be ideal to stay a couple of weeks when I return for work — good for a long stay. Beautifully decorated, lovely breakfast, such a pleasure meeting the host Brenda. More like a retreat for adults to enjoy away from the kids (not a good place for kids). Convenient to Sumner and short drive downtown but private— so good for working stays. Bed, room, shower, everything was perfect.

Amazing range for breakfast

Breakfast was beyond all expectations. Utterly sublime. Granola and fruit compote. Croissants. Blackcurrant jam from Riverside Kitchen!

Beautiful property set on the hillside with picture postcard wide view of sea, mountains and city. Was a pleasure eating breakfast on the patio every morning.

The location was just right for us. It was great to meet Perri and Frankie:-) The house felt like it had been curated by an interior designer.

Perfect place for staying. Brenda has an exquisite taste for home and living, and she cares about every little detail, such as phone chargers, mint water, fresh flowers and everything you may need during the stay. Her breakfast was so nice, especially with some of the food from her own garden.
