The property was very clean and the owners were responsive. We ran into problems with the air conditioning. The system is set and controlled by the owner and you have to constantly reset it to get it to cool to anything below 73. It was very hot during the day and at night. The listing also states that the Beach Club rents paddle boards, bikes and kayaks. We tried to rent from the Beach Club but we’re referred to off-site companies which then led to us carrying a kayak and paddle board from the house to the beach (not an easy task). This information would have been helpful to have upfront so that we could make arrangements ahead of time.

A beautiful beach house and perfect for our stay and for our family,,,, 5 adults, 2 children. The owner was quick to answer any question. The entire process was seamless. I personally recommend renting a golf cart for toting your things to the beach. The beach is just a 3 minute golf cart ride, very helpful to have. The family agreed this was the best beach house we’ve rented in the 25+ years we’ve been going to Galveston.

Beachhouse was very modern and new, beautiful decor, kitchen, bathrooms and lots of space! Ground floor was perfect for games, and kids hanging out w music. We will be back

The house was very nice and very clean. The contact person was very responsive and attentive to any issue (only one that did not impact our stay). On the negative side, the pool was not open and you needed a code to enter the club (this is not good because we paid a lot of money) so you do not get to get all the benefits of the place. The location is very far away from civilization but the house was nice and quiet. We liked it but it could be better for the price. In general, it was a good stay

We had a short weekend getaway right after thanksgiving. The house was nice and clean with more than enough things to do to keeps the kids occupied. The beach is a short walk away and the neighborhood is calm and quiet. Our whole group had a wonderful time. We would definitely come and stay here again.

It was good, 1 st night a bit AC a bit hot for us but they fixed it the 2nd day - very clean, good conditions. The wish washer apparently we are not smart enough to put it to work, but we reported it as we were leaving- I am sure they took care of it everything else was working expected. We enjoyed the house - club house was fun ! I recommend this property and it’s manager easy to deal with and answer promptly

This is a lovely upscale, roomy home! Great location to the beach - 2 beach entrances within close walking distance! Full working almost new appliances. Also close location to Pointe West club for facility use or restaurant carry out, or in dining! And a Full Size stand up PacMan video arcade - how can you go wrong with that! Thank you!

We’ve stayed in Pointe West for the past four years, and our visit at Martin’s home was the best. The home is beautiful, well stocked and cared for, in a great location, and well laid out. Martin was kind, professional, accessible, and so hospitable. We are already planning to book here again.

Had a great time on our vacation. This property worked great for us. Perfect size for the 3 families.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach house is very nice, clean, stylish, and organized. The beach house was stocked with everything we needed. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the bunk beds and video games. She also loved the beach and Pointe West pool and lazy river. The owner was nice, very responsive. and sent us cookies at the house.

We traveled from WI to Galveston for a spring break family trip. We had 10 people staying here, 4 adults, kids ages 22-10. Everyone had enough personal space along with a big enough room to enjoy time together. They amities were great and fit all of our age ranges. Easy walk to beach. Everything was clean. Golf cart would have been great to have. But wasn’t necessary to get get to all the pools. Drove to the lazy river(about 3min). Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home built with a spacious open layout that includes privacy and plenty of property.

This home is beautiful and stocked with all the amenities you could ever need. Our kids loved the bunk room and separate living space. We loved the large patio and ocean view. I highly recommend this rental property.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you need. It was so close to the beach. We loved being able to enjoy the porch while getting a view of the water.

The owner of this house is super nice! He sent us cookies one night, & was really easy to get ahold of! The house itself is beautiful! The neighborhood & the beach down at Pointe West is so nice. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for cleaning so we can't say anything about it but other people we know have stayed there & love the pool. The house is really clean, the decor and furniture are all great! You can definitely tell it is a newer house & its well taken care of. Beach is a 3 minute walk from the house, and pool is probably a 8 min walk. There were just a COUPLE of things that we were complaining about while we were there. (It was myself, husband, our 2 small children, and my adult sister, fiance and mom.) This house is not cheap to stay at, so our standards were high for the amount of money spent. When you get there, you're told you aren't allowed to turn the A/C down lower than 72 for the stay. When you arrive the house is at 78. I totally get conservation & saving money when the property isn't being used. However, it would have been nice if the house had been cooled down to 72 when we got there instead of us having to turn it down & be sweating & hot the entire first afternoon/evening we were there since the A/C had to work so hard to cool off since it was extremely hot out. Again, it might not bother most people, but if you're hot natured, it did get warm in the bedrooms in the evening when the doors are shut (except the bunk bed room my baby was in stayed nice & cool). We did message the owners the 1st night when the house was still trying to cool down & asked if we could venmo some money to pay for their electricity bill to be able to turn it down to 70 at night. He agreed, but we weren't able to turn it down lower than 72 (the AC is a smart system so we it didn't let us go lower than 72) so we just left it alone. It was fine during the day just got stuffy at night with doors closed. Also, the sheets were EXTREMELY scratchy & uncomfortable, & the pillows weren't very comfortable either. My husband & I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter with our own pillows & blankets but everyone else who didnt bring their own weren't thrilled about those sheets/pillows all week. The towels are tiny (like perfect size for my 2 year old but small for adults). We just feel if you spend that kind of money to have nicer sheets and bath towels. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! If you're picky just bring your own sheets/towels.

The house was very clean and is beautifully decorated! We all felt very comfortable and so relaxed throughout our entire stay. Martin was an exceptionally helpful and a gracious host…He made us feel very welcome in his home! And, everything was so easy…from when we first booked with him until the moment we left. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!
