The cabin was beautifully decorated and cozy. The space was prefect for my family of 8 and still had extra space. The game area downstairs was a hot spot, especially that it rain for 2 days out of the 4 days we were there, we stayed in those 2 days, it kept the kids entertained and distracted. I appreciated all the little stuff the host accommodate the cabin with, it really put a smile on my face and I didn't have to go rushing to the grocery store, since we got there later in the day. (Sponge, dish soap, towels, extra bedding, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, etc. It was very much appreciated.)Jacuzzi was also a big hit for my young adults (2 thumbs up). The communication was excellent with our host, she even provided us with other directions which the GPS did not route us on and I am so thankful for that. Check in was easy, we didn't have to stop anywhere else. The whole trip/experience was a success and the cabin will always be a part of our family making memories.

This was the perfect place for a small extended family. We all loved playing games together and hanging out on the porch watching for bears. Everything in Gatlinburg was a quick drive away. The host quickly responded to any questions.

Authentic mountain getaway

This cabin was great for our family's trip to the Smoky Mountains. We saw a bear at the cabin almost every day including a baby bear peeking in the deck window the first morning! Our kids absolutely loved the gaming table, air hockey, and pool table. We also were able to enjoy the neighborhood pools almost every afternoon (not walking distance but a few minutes drive away). This was a great location for visiting the National Park and also downtown Gatlinburg.
A couple things to note: the roads leading to the cabin are very steep and narrow with sharp turns so be careful! Also, the floors are a bit creaky so if you're a light sleeper you might want to take the top floor.

A wonderful cabin!
We had the best time while staying in this cabin! We try to come down to Gatlinburg every year and of all the places we have stayed... this is my favorite! It had so much charm and you can tell a lot of love has went into this cabin. We had everything we needed and the kids loved all of the games. The location is amazing as well. We barely knew we had neighbors. Of all our trips down, we had never been able to see a bear.... but this cabin changed that. They came right up on the porch one day! It was an unforgettable experience! Melody was wonderful to communicate with.... you can tell she cares about her renter's experience. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again next time!

Great communication with owner. Loved the house. Need a blower for massive leaf build up on porch. Fell twice on the leaves. Highlight was seeing mama and 3 baby bears in our porch.

Nice location. home has some repair issues that need to be addressed to make stay more enjoyable.
Overall a nice property 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. Parts of the home need work and should have been done after paying alot for 5 nights. the floor make alot of noise and can be heard on all three floors when anyone moves. the hot tub was not clean and was not working properly. the main fire place was not turned on and was promised it would be working the following day and was not repaired. upstaris toilet kept getting stuck running. Counter draw in bath was broken. oven warmer door was hanging off the unit. have been staying at cabins in Gatlinburg for over 20 years and for the money this would not be considered a value. The place really needs some love and has great potential but expect much high standards.

Great location right outside of the Natl Park.
Three bedrooms and three baths worked great for us. The only issue is driving up to the cabin in the dark ... it's much easier in daylight as it is a steep drive. We all enjoyed the cabin with hot tub, pool table, air hockey table. We didn't spend much time in cabin, but it would have been great to stay longer to enjoy it even more. Owner was available to answer any questions immediately.

Great stay up in bear country!
The house was up some very steep roads so be careful. Was very clean and organized. Had an awesome game room with air hockey, pool table and video game machine that kept all ages entertained. Loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms and that the loft area had its own climate control! Hot tub was great- there was only a couple small charcoal grills but it worked out fine. We had a Mom and three Cubs visit on the first and second days and come right up to the door. Just a reminder to anyone reading this, please do not feed the bears, they will become too used to it and could be put down if they become labeled as nuisance bears or ever attack anyone.
We thought from the listing that the pool was close by but ended up there are actually 3 pools - have to drive to them but aren’t far.
Overall had a fantastic time!!! Want to go back someday.

Great stay!
This was a wonderful cabin. Enjoyed everything. We had some unexpected guest but was a pleasant surprise. Especially momma bear and her little babies. One warning which Melody did tell us about was make sure car doors and house doors are locked. Unfortunately I forgot to lock car one time and a bear did climb in and grab a bag of garbage. Due to it being by the door inside he didn’t have to go far. We also saw them trying to get in the next door neighbors cars which were locked. Very smart bears. The game room was a big hit with the kids. Thanks for providing for a wonderful experience and a great stay.

Grandchildren loved it
Great check in process. Nice game room. The only thing I would add is the rugs might need to be more secured especially in the main floor bedroom. Slide on it numerous times. Just a suggestion. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

A truly magnificent experience! We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. There is plenty of room to bring the entire family with 3 bedrooms and multiple couches and futon. The scenery was beautiful, with the cabin overlooking a wooded hillside above Gatlinburg and a two story deck on the back of the cabin with the hot tub perched on top overseeing everything. The bottom floor of the cabin housed a large common area with multiple games (old school Galaga and Pac-Man arcade game, air hockey table, and pool table with Wi-Fi included for smart devices) and a living room suit arranged in front of the fireplace with a TV so that there was something to do for the entire family. We made memories here that our family will cherish forever, when we come to Gatlinburg we will definitely rent here first whenever possible!

A wonderful stay in a cozy gatlinburg cabin
The cabin was a little older but still in good shape. Was clean and had all the amenities we needed, and internet was charter fast which is a plus up in the mountains. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we had some good times playing pool, and winning some air hockey games. The hot tube worked fine, heated up well. I was a little worried we might see a bear at night but we did good out on back porch underneath some beautiful stars. Great times, great cabin. Wish we could've stayed a little longer! Thx

PERFECT!
Daniel was exceptionally easy to rent from. The property was in a nice, quiet woodland and is in excellent condition! Would love to stay there again on our next trip to the Smokies!

Great Cabin stay
We enjoyed this cabin so much! Very clean and property owner easy to communicate with. A bear was walking down the driveway and on the deck which was a highlight for the trip! Family enjoyed the hot tub also.

Great mountain cabin
Everything looked the exact same as the listing. Great location and didn’t have any issues. Check in process couldn’t have been any more convenient. We had a bear on the deck next to the hot tub checking stuff out the second night which was super cool to see. Definitely would recommend

Simply amazing
This cabin is just perfect for a getaway from this crazy world. Its in such a beautiful and peaceful location. We relaxed in the hot tub a lot during our stay. We got to see a few bears come to the cabin which was so neat! Be sure to lock your vehicle doors because they will pull the handles to try to get in! The cabin was very well equipped and roomy. We had a lot of fun in the game room playing checkers, pool and air hockey. The beds were very comfy. The air conditioner worked great...it was nice and cool in the cabin. There was plenty of extra bedding and pillows. The owner checked on us when we checked in and seemed very helpful with reccomendations on places to eat and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.

Family Getaway
We had a wonderful family weekend and the cabin offered plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy. The kids (ages 3-18) loved all the games in the lower level and the nearby swimming pools. We looked forward to the daily visits by the local bears and one beautiful owl! The new air conditioner worked perfect and while the chalet is nestled in the woods, it has quick access to the surrounding attractions. Hope to stay there again someday!

We had a very relaxing time at this property. The cabin was very roomy. We really enjoyed our stay. Daniel contacted me after our check in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We did not have any issues with the cabin. I would stay there again.

Great location, nice older cabin
We had a nice time. The house offered what was needed. The AC struggled a bit. We had a large group of ten and had plenty of room for the kiddo's to spread out. The deck will need replaced in the next few seasons but that just age.

Recent stay
We stayed for a short trip. We weren’t able to utilize the entire cabin because the air wasn’t working properly throughout the whole cabin. Daniel was very attentive, and even brought us extra fans but the air situation kinda put a damper on the weekend.

Cabin not as advertised
The cabin was so dirty when we got there. There were bugs everywhere, dust in the sofas. The pictures to the cabin are definitely older. It is an older cabin so I knew that there would be some issues, but still it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Some outlets didn't work. We had issues with the refrigerator, hot tub, TV's, the AC, hair in the sinks and bathrooms, carpet stains, bed stains. Daniel was very nice though he gave us recommendations on where to go and what to see which helped our plans.

Family getaway
We enjoyed our time together with our 2 sons and their. We had plenty of room to spread out and each family had their own room with bath. The best and worst part were the BEARS!! We saw 20 during our stay...this has been going on in the area lately. We got lots of pictures and videos. Our grandchildren loved the air hockey table...and the loft! Daniel was helpful when we called him...would stay here again. The cabin is older but was fine for us.

Nice location, wilderness view close to the market and downtown main street
Spotted a few bears in the surrounding woods which was amazing. Check in process super easy, owner Daniel checked on us to make sure we got in okay and offered some tips for the stay. House was stocked with appropriate dishes for cooking dinner and breakfast. Bed clothes were clean and fresh towels. Kids had a blast. Great stay!

We will be back!
We decided to run away for the weekend and this was the perfect place for our getaway! The owner was nice enough to make sure we got checked in ok and wished us a safe trip when we left. Our kids LOVED the game room. The scenery is gorgeous and the chalet is beautifully decorated. We are very much looking forward to booking a longer stay during the fall!
FYI: It's been years since we've been to Gatlinburg and forgot to lock our car doors one morning haha. We had quite the adventure cause we didn't know bears check door handles! Make sure to lock your car doors so the bears stay out lol. If they do by chance get in, the police officers are very helpful! We are still laughing! 2020 has given us some pretty great stories tell!

Girls' Ronacation 2020
It was myself and 4 mom friends whose cruise for Mother's Day had been cancelled so we opted for the mountains instead. The house was spacious and perfect for relaxing. The location was central to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Though it could use some updating, it worked out perfectly for our trip. The hot tub cover does need to be replaced, as it is ripped in half. Communication with the owner is superb. He answered any question I had both before and during our trip within minutes. Though we didn't see the bears, we did forget to lock our cars one night and they had a hay day going through them. Just adds to our memories of a great girls' getaway! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great Getaway in the Smoky Mountains
The property owner, Daniel, was super responsive and easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway near Gatlinburg. The cabin was as promised and just a few minutes drive to downtown. We spent our weekend in the cabin with plenty to do and were visited by a family of bears and had a wonderful time!
