Well, to begin with this is the worst Royal Orchid I have ever stayed with. Pros Location Spacious rooms. Bed was comfy and the linen was crisp.

Cons: No soundproofing at all, gets very noisy in the road outside and the restaurant downstairs. Rooms have space, but that's just about it. Furnitures are eligible for a museum, dust everywhere, stained shower curtains, the list goes on. The room is dingy and dark with insufficient lighting (you can't even read a book) and there are no reading lights, table lamps or bedside consoles. You need to get up and walk 10 feet before you can switch on lights. Food was below average and expensive. Service personnel were indifferent, no coordination and takes ages for check in and check out. Balcony hasn't been cleaned in ages, and the shutters does not close properly. Altogether, definitely not worth 5k+ that I paid for it. I would probably stay here if it was in the range of 2.5k and the food prices were reduced by 50%.

The staff was very courteous, prompt and friendly

First there was paint fumes in my floor. Second the bed in the room.was not good, it kept on sliding in the middle. The facilities didn't give the value of the money spent. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel.
