The home is spacious with wonderful views from the deck. Our family had a great time staying at this “home base” for exploring the National Park. A very pleasant, welcoming environment. We loved the setting, up in the hills. Saw some bears wandering by. The home is very near the clubhouse with a pool too. Susan’s reputation as a responsive host, mentioned in other reviews, is quite genuine. She has a “get it done now” approach to requests and inquiries in the interest of making a guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible. Communication with her was always prompt and effective. Thank you!

1st Gatlinburg Visit. This house perfectly fit our needs with 3 master size large bedrooms, stocked kitchen, game room, hot tub and 2 Mountain view porches. The nicely appointed bedrooms gave our adult family members the ability to spread out without needing to put anyone on a pullout couch. We came from two directions Nashville and Tampa. We decided to venture out to Anakeesta, ax throwing, the Gatlinburg Smokey Mountain Trailhead, mini golf. Our beagle coonhound Holly thoroughly enjoyed being included in our family visit. Wish we had had time to stay longer.

The house was nice with a really good view off of the back deck. The property owner was so easy and great to work with….. we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, clean, modern home with great views and a fun game room! Excellent and easy - from booking to check-out. Susan was responsive and gracious. I wish all VRBO properties were this clean and cared for as well as this one. The layout, 3 king bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, made this home perfect for our group of 3 adult couples, a teen and a child. Quick drive to Dollywood, restaurants, and other attractions. Thank you Susan for renting your lovely home!

We had a group of 9 and it was so nice for the 3 couples to have their own room and our 3 kids enjoyed the bunks and trundle bed. The location seemed great for driving into Gatlinburg from 2 different directions to avoid crowds. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Make sure you grab charcoal for the grill!

Great house, location, and communication with the host. Susan was quick to respond with any questions we had. The kitchen was well appointed. Beds were comfortable. The children enjoyed the bunks, pool table, and arcade games. Views were amazing.

Cabin was everything promised - instructions and check in were perfect - nicely furnished, modern finish, well prepared, and clean Family loved the quiet, the games room, hot tub, views and easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Would recommend for a great experience

My friends and I had such a great time here! It was perfect for us especially with the amount of beds and space! We really enjoyed the hot tub and game room! We had a little difficulty finding it in the dark because google maps put us on the road next to it and it was hard to see the signs, so I definitely recommend checking in during daylight! We all had so much fun and the location was perfect between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved our trip. The Cabin was beautiful, gorgeous views the mountains. We are a family of 6. Plenty of room and everyone has their own bed. If you like to exercise i highly recommend walking around the neighborhood. Beautiful views and some great hills for a good workout. My adult and teen boys loved our stay!

Everything from booking to exiting was professional. Communication between host and myself was succinct. Host provided a beautiful home and the only thing you need to bring is an adventure. Very steep inclune to get to home but the views are breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Though the property was just fantastic and very clean, it was the communication that made the stay over the top. Our ability to contact the owner and her very prompt response(s) was what made this a stress free experience. Highly recommend!

The Red Roof Chalet is a great home for children, adults, and fur friends. The home includes two very spacious master bedrooms on the first floor with a living room with gas fireplace, large dining room table with room for ten people, kitchen, mud room, and deck with gorgeous Mountain Views. The lower level includes a large bedroom with king bed, fourth bedroom with large bunk bed, game room, and deck with hot tub. The property is located within close proximity to downtown Gaitlinburg and is a short drive to Pigeon Forge. If you are concerned about the drive up I would suggest taking the route from the Gaitlinburg Welcome Center as most curves have guard rails. The home also includes only two small steps to enter the front door which is a big plus for my elderly parents. Overall, the home is a great combination of modern amenities, location, and beautiful mountains views. We highly recommend the Red Roof Chalet.

Our family spent a long weekend in Gatlinburg, and we had a fantastic experience at Red Roof Chalet. The host was extremely responsive to any question, and the property was perfect for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our family had a lot of fun in the game room, and the views were great. We will plan to stay here again.

This cabin is truly incredible, it has a spectacular view and is close to all the attractions of Gatlinburg, just minutes away we saw bears on the back porch. The owner is very friendly. Of course I would stay in this wonderful cabin again if I return to Gatlinburg in the future.

We had great time at Red Roof Chalet while hiking at Smokey mountain. House has a wonderful view of the mountains . Very spacious well equipped house . Comfortable beds, super clean . We had group of 6 but easy to fit 9-10 people . Nice game room and 2 balcony with gorgeous views . Would definitely stay at the Red Roof Chalet if I am in the area again.

We had a great family vacation in the Smokies. Great hiking, Dollywood, Pirate dinner, Cades Cove trip, and hanging with the family at the Red Roof Chalet. A great place to stay!

Our family enjoyed this cabin so much! The view off of the back patio is fabulous and the kids especially enjoyed the game room in the evenings. We even saw a bear from the safety of the patio which was exciting. As other reviewers have mentioned the road up the mountain is a bit scary at first but by the second day we had gotten used to it and had no trouble at all. We would definitely love to stay here again if we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Great location, clean & comfortable space. We were a group of 7 and had plenty of room to spread out. The large table was perfect for family meals. And we loved the game room, pool table, and hot tub. We used the nearby park & ride to catch the trolley and visit the tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was as advertised. Very clean and homey feeling. Beautiful view out back. Added bonus of seeing a bear with her 3 cubs right outside the front door. Family had a great time and would love to come back.

Working with the owner was great. The house is beautiful. The drive up is steep but you could not enjoy the quietness and view without it. We had a wonderful time. It was great having three bathrooms. Everyone had their space. Would recommend this to anyone looking to be close to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, the Titanic museum. My favorite is still the aquarium! The house and the views were beautiful. It had a well stocked kitchen. All the beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for all to get together and also plenty of space for alone time. Would definitely recommend this house if visiting Gatlinburg. Seeing bears was an extra bonus.

Love. LOVE. L O V E the host Mrs. Susan! And her house too - of course. It was very homey, spacious, cozy, and all in all, a lovely feeling. Spent most of the time out on the patio deck watching the Sun and feeling the breeze. The jacuzzi was amazingly hot and relaxing, laid in it for hours - - enjoying the view, listening to the soothing chirping of the birds, with the Sun beaming on my skin. I also had the BEST sleep ever! You crack open the windows to let the breeze in, falling asleep to the sound of light rain and nature. It was a wonderful experience, would hands down book here again, if only I can get over my fear of heights. The drive to the cabin was the most scaring thing ever. You’re so far up, and the roads are so narrow, one wrong turn/move and it’s over with. Closed my eyes the whole entire time, up and down that road, praying nothing bad would happen. I did not picture it was going to be a drive like that. Other than the terrifying drive to the cabin, everything else about it was terrific! Thank you so much for allowing our family, and fur babies, to stay at your beautiful home.

We were very happy that everything was as described. The house was very clean,well stocked and super cozy. The view from the back porch was awesome! We enjoyed the game room. Our entire family would like to make this an annual trip. We did see bears the night before we left and we’re excited about that. We would definitely stay here again! All emails, texts and questions very answered in a very timely manner. Excellent service provided. Thank you for allowing us to make these special memories in your home.

We had a really good time. My only complaint is for 8 people, the common areas (den and decks) need to be larger with more seating.

Three generations and a dog stayed here for a lovely four night retreat. We really enjoyed our time at the VRBO. It was very clean and had a lot of fun games for the kids and adults alike. The mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for breakfast and dinner (we loved being able to grill out). The kids loved the hot tub. The location is super convenient to the National Park, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood.

The home is beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Our entire family had a wonderful time. We saw a mama bear and her 4 cubs, which was an experience since this was our first time seeing bears. It was a little scary because they were so close but we watched them from the bedroom window and stayed inside. There were plenty of amenities in the home. Communication with the owner was great. Check in and check out was very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and in-laws stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights! Perfect views and a beautiful home. The beds slept so well and comfy. The property manager was quick to respond with any issue we had! I would definitely stay here again. It’s perfect distance to gatlinburg, it’s curvy steep roads but it’s fun haha. You can be in downtown gatlinburg in about 5 minutes. Our dog bailey enjoyed it as well, it was his first trip with us.

It was our 2 month olds first vacation and our toddler's first time in the mountains. We loved the location and the house. There was an issue with the cleanliness of the linens and some food found, but after I emailed property management it was rectified and resolved immediately. We enjoyed the views and the game room as well as the proximity to Gatlinburg. We saw bears the first day and could find them in the hills the following days- it was so neat! Great place and fantastic location!
