Their entrance and reception area is very glamorous. I guess that where they spent the money.

1. Cleanliness and I was told it’s new- it’s pretty worn down for a new hotel 2. Rooms are small with tiny windows, it’s suffocating 3. Restaurant has a low ceiling, it feels like you are eating in a dungeon 4. Food is mediocre 5. Pool had murky water and fake grass, no bar or restaurant on roof top 5. When I asked for another room, they said they would but no one called or followed up. At 2:30 they showed me another type of room which was dirty too. Then another but they wanted extra 10000 rupees. So I said no. Then they wanted to charge me for an additional night since it’s been 3 pm. They made me wait 4:30 hours… so very bad customer service.

The check-in staff voluntarily said, that he upgraded one of our booking.com rooms. But when we compared later with the facilities, both were same and nothing upgraded…here I would ask them not to claim or say so considering the client is not always dump

The hotel had all the amenities, very helpful staff and good breakfast. They also safely returned our misplaced wallet

Breakfast was good. Good variety of dishes including enough that were freshly cooked ones. The rooms were just right with a great view. For an even better view the rooftop cannot be beat.

Difficult to locate

The staff were great. Mr Naseem (Duty manager), Sudheer (Ops Manager), Febin(Front Desk) to name a few were very attentive. The staff in ints entirety were very warm and genuinely attempted to help where ever possible.

Staff needs to feel supported. English is not the first language and English spoken in foreign accents can be daunting. Training should be provided to understand foreign accents as well as asking for help. Communication around help through collaboration with colleagues and managers need to be emotionally supported through authentic positive feedback.

The hospitality was as you expect from Taj group. The house keeping as well as the attitude of the staff was very pleasing.

Since this is a vivanta brand the rooms as well as other facilities were ergonomically designed to save space. The bar and the gym was very tiny.

We liked the stay overall. I like the hotel and will be back when I get an opportunity. Staffs were great and amazing. The manager was great too.

You stated a preference for rooms to be close together during booking - But what happened was our families were separated. We booked through booking.com (Emirates), but when we went to the hotel, the receptionist did not honor the booking and I was given a different rate. The manager intervened and we were able to get it fixed. The second most unlike event was - our passport photocopies were lying on the top of the printer when I came back to check on the door access key. Passport contains most personal information and those should be protected. Staff should be trained on that.
