Lovely room, lovely size, condiments were lovely, bathroom was nice, staff in pub opposite were nice and welcoming, food in pub was great!

Was a bit chilly even with radiator on but it's an older building

Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable king-size bed. Good food in restaurant. Free parking.

location was exellant bus to town close and only 30 minutes walk fast food supermarket close by nice and quiet situated in the back garden

Private and away from near neighbours. Easy parking. Good value for money.

Room served it's purpose, was quirky and clean.

The TV was not great, too small for the room. Room was too hot. Bed seemed comfortable at the time but caused neck and back pain next day.

The property was situated great for us visiting the Christmas markets.

The rooms are located at the rear of the property and away from the road so it was very quiet. Check in was easy snd organised. Nice clean room too.

It reached my expectations given the price. Anything under £100 in York is good value!

We had the evening meal at the tavern, it was very good, just enough to be satisfying without overdoing it. The room was comfortable, convenient and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I really liked how simple and fuss-free the system was, just a couple of keys and we were self-sufficient till we left.

The shower was iffy, and there were no hooks on the back of the bathroom door. The room was up a flight of stairs, and there was no help to get the suitcase up there, a struggle for my partner.

The bed was really comfortable. The bar staff were really helpful. Especially the guy when I arrived on the Sunday. (I've forgotten his name. 😵‍💫 He had fabulous long hair.)

There was a damp smell in the bathroom. I had the window open the whole time but it never left. The floor in the bathroom felt 'spongy' underfoot. It had lino down but the floor underneath was spongy. (Maybe the reason for the smell??) I was in a queen room. There were only 2 tea bags in a massive pot when I arrived on Sunday. I wasn't offered more until Wednesday! There were cobwebs everywhere. I have photos.
