location is great and very close to downtown patzcuaro. the staff very helpful from the bell boy waiters and reception crew.

took us a little longer to get one of our rooms.

The Architecture is beautiful, and so are the grounds.

The first room they gave me was subpar, it was by the main corridor and we heard A LOT of noise all the time, plus people were smoking by the room and it smelled of cigarettes. The second room was better but still not at the level of what we expected. The breakfast could also be better.

The buffet was amazing, and all the food was delicious.

There is a lot of sound between 6am-11pm in the rooms surrounding the first courtyard, they should mention it when making the reservation. We had to ask for a room change that was further back in the hotel, after that there was no problem.

The breakfast in the hotel is nice but it’s literally double the price of most restaurants, so very expensive.

We booked the hotels New Years Eve dinner. It’s was terrible, one day f the worst meals we have ever eaten: cold tasteless food and our neat the was so tough it couldn’t be cut or eaten. This was also very expensive - probably four times more expensive than anywhere else.

Good parking

- Bedroom floor was wet when we arrived and then the staff member who showed us to our room walked in with dirty shoes on, making dirty wet footprints all over the floor. - Cold shower - No bed side lights and you had to get up and walk to the door to turn the lights off. - No power socket on one side of bed. - Room far too dark - Receptionist gave us inaccurate information about boats to Janitzio - Waiters at breakfast happily served Mexican clients an a la carte breakfast but insisted that we (foreigners) had the buffet. It took a short argument with multiple members of staff before they reluctantly agreed to serve us a la carte. - Ordered the same dish both mornings and the second morning it was literally half the size. All in all a poor experience. Would be passable had it been half the price.
