The location was ideal and the cottage perfectly suited for our family of 4.

the dishwasher did not work while we stayed and there was not a microwave.

It had two very lovely spacious bathrooms. The bed was pretty comfortable. Lovely area with lovely neighbours as long as you don’t block their drive as previous people must have. Great water pressure in the shower upstairs! Loved that we were so close to a pub. Literally a minute walk down the alley and we were there. Lovely location. Nice and secluded. A little difficult to find to start with but amazing!

It was definitely not dog safe. There was a lead outside chained up for ‘safety’. There was no real garden. Just the left of the small wall was the property. The grass on the pictures is not part of the property. The sofa was super uncomfy, there was two chairs that were okay but as a couple retreat you couldn’t be sat near each other. There was no amenities in the house such as a welcome pack. We ended up going back out to the shops the next morning for all the little things we don’t normally have to think about such as coffee, milk, sugar, washing up liquid, disinfectant, etc. The dishwasher didn’t work (or we couldn’t make it work). There was a mouldy wooden spoon in the draw as well. Many previous people complained it wasn’t clean but we found it to be mostly alright. The leak round the sink in the downstairs bathroom was also a shame.

Nice setting, pretty peaceful too. Well equipped including dishwasher & washer dryer, beds pretty firm & comfy, lovely gardens & what is a very tranquil outside patio area with overhead canopy which is great during the day, let down in the evening though by the blown bulb! Plenty of storage space, hot water when needed. If this place gets a lick if paint inside, a SOLID clean every now & again as the "leave as you find it" clearly does NOT work, some uprated furniture in the lounge then you couldn't ask for more, nor would you need to in truth. We would go again, without a doubt, but only if those things were addressed.

Please note this: We saw NO mention of a gardner attending the property for 2 Hours fortnightly on Tuesday mornings (Last visit 26th July) ANNOYING to say the least & could have been very embarrassing! Place is in need of decorating, without a doubt, one reviewer mentioned furniture being tired & i'm afraid to say they were correct, it is, very tired indeed. Sit down in either if the Tub chairs too firmly & you will hurt your spine on the strip of wood that runs from top to bottom directly down the centre!! The decorating aside, the cottage needs a total clean from top to bottom, my first job on arrival was cleaning sinks & toilet seats & fitting areas as they all had that pinky/peachy bacterial line around them, so filthy in my book. All cutlery went through dishwasher for good measure too although we ate out everyday. Outside light over patio dining area needs a bulb replacement as it has gone pop.

Cleaning could have been better ,hairs collecting on bathroom floor not been hovered or mopped properly all bedding put on inside out,,some of the pots not clean especially glasses ,not been used for a while n looked grubby

Beautiful cottage in fabulous location. Everything was thought of. Close to the pub too...they did fabulous food. Great for walking the dog handy having the poo bin. Everyone very polite and friendly... Loved everything about it.

Messages I sent were answered automated... Untidy cupboards couldn't find anything. All cleaning products left were more or less empty. Couldn't get to park by gate so had to carry bags etc further than expected. No grey sacks were available for recycling the cans and plastics.

Location was beautiful and very quiet. Not terribly easy to find but directions in description were better than gps. Beautiful cottage and walk to local pub was good with excellent food.

Heating was not easy to use, but maybe our problem. Be prepared for steep drive to Prestatyn.

local pub does not allow dogs so always had to leave one person behind to stay with dog.
