The apartment was really comfortable and a convenient location for a local event I was working at. The living and dining area is spacious, and the apartment is really clean and welcoming. You have everything you need for a short stay in Dunoon (a cafetiere or filter coffee pot would be a welcome addition!)

Some written instructions about heating and TV etc would be helpful. I was able to contact the wonderful housekeeper who was really prompt to assist, but an instruction sheet in the apartment for guests would save bothering her.

Pretty good location, close to local amenities and about 150 years from the waterfront. Free parking close by and plenty of places to see. Small shop just around the corner and a really decent chipshop. Ideal place for a weekend away. Now TV with all subscriptions and some addons such as Disney+ and Netflix for those rainy days if needed. Clean, cozy and warm. Kitchen pretty well equipped too.

Privacy in kitchen and living room was a bit of a problem as the blinds did not roll all the way down. Really minor though.

Bed uncomfortable. Property cold and took a while to warm up. No welcome pack or instructions. Milk and bread might have been a nice added extra. Bedroom had a couple of cobwebs on the ceiling.

The apartment was perfect and beautifully presented. It met all our requirements for a short break away. It was cozy and comfortable and very clean. The communication from both the owner and their housekeeper was ideal-even recommending to buy our Ferry Tickets in advance to save money-then going as far as to meet us 45 mins later than expected with the keys because we missed our ferry. The location itself was ideal, it was a short walk for everything within the town meaning I didn't need to drive unnecessarily(I drive for a living so I love the opportunity to just walk) with views of the water and hills. The people who live in Dunoon are also some of the most polite and welcoming folks we have ever met-we come from an area where it's unusual for strangers to say "Hello" when passing you in the street, supermarket, shops, passing pubs, so this made the stay all the more pleasant. I'd return to Dunoon for this reason alone. I'd highly recommend this apartment for any couple on a short break, long break or full blown holiday.

Only thing is there is no lightning in the close so it's pitch black at night but that's not the owners fault as it's a shared close.

Great location! Great communication from the owner and Margaret who met us there was lovely! everything very clean and perfect for what we needed for a few days away! Could have comfortably stayed longer.

The apartment was very comfortable and cosy. It was furnished beautifully too. There was every amenity there that was required, and it felt like a home from home.

As we are now in the winter months the entrance to the property was pitch black and dangerous as there is no light. I ended up having to use my torch from my phone which wasn't ideal.

The apartment was nicely equipped, there was enough stuff in the kitchen to cook, we could snuggle up on the sofa and watch Netflix when the weather was bad and basically it had everything we needed. Unfortunately the washing machine broke, but Margaret (the housekeeper) was very kind and helpful and ended up doing our laundry, which we are very grateful for. Generally Margaret was super nice and everything you could wish for when arriving in Dunoon.

We had to wrinse down the bathtub as there was still hair from the previous guests beneath the mat and generally the bathtub didn’t look that cleaned up.

Great value and privacy! Compact but everything we needed.

Shower was ok, the only negative was no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries.

Good location, and flat was clean and well equipped, although the bedding could do with replacing. Pillows were soft and past their best.

Thd entrance was grubby and disturbance in the close at night left us a bit unsettled. Not the owners fault but it was not a nice experience 😕
